You hear footsteps behind you,
"Carl! You spin around,
The walker ran into you, you couldn't grab you knife fast enough, you scream, trying to fight the walker off, trying to push him off of you,
You Hear A gun shot, the walker falls, looking to your left you see Carl,
Pushing the limp walker off of you,
"Where The Hell Were You?" You snapped at Carl,
"Looking For You" he snapped back,
Rolling your eyes, "whatever"
"Are you okay?" He asks worriedly
Brushing off your shirt,
Yeah Thanks For asking you smiled at him,
You hated fighting with Carl, you Tried to avoid it at all cost,
Heading back to the house, you see Daryl and glen running back,
"Are You Okay?" We Heard Screaming, Daryl Asked Franticly
Yeah I'm Fine, I wasn't Paying attention and I ran into a walker, Carl saved me, you explained to him,
Daryl Drops his bag from the run and walks up to you,
Scared of being told how careless you are you took a step back, when Daryl put both his hands on the side of your face,
He says in a focused voice,
"Are You sure? You're okay?"
Yeah Daryl I'm fine,
Backing away from you,
"You gotta be more careful kid"he tells you, running a hand through his hair
He picks up his bag and heads inside, as the door swings and Daryl and glen go inside Rick steps out,
You roll your eyes remembering, the ordeal yesterday,
Carl notices your action, and tells you to be nice,
When Rick approaches to tell Carl about God knows what,
You wanted to avoid conflict so you go to walk away, you didn't take but two steps and and Rick grabbed your arm,
"(Y/n), Listen, I'm sorry about what I said, I didn't mean it like that, And, . . . "
You completely zoned out after that,
You thought were he's a good man, he means well, I wouldn't be alive if he hadn't taken me in, and who knows when the last time we see each other will be, you decide that bad blood isn't good to have,
"Hey! (Y/n)" waving his hand in front of your face, you snap back into reality, and just hug him,
"I'm sorry" you mumble, even though you didn't feel as if you over reacted that didn't matter,
You don't know exactly how he said sorry but it's better if you didn't,
Seeing Carl's face full of relief made you smile.
You could tell Rick was happy you forgave him,
Once Rick walked off Carl turned to you
"You know that meant a lot to him" Carl told you, he really did feel bad
"Yeah I know Carl" you said
You go To Turn Around To Walk In The House,
"Hey uh B- babe? Carl choked out,
A smile spread across your face,
Calming yourself you turn around,
"Yess?"You ask raising an eye brow,
Last night, was the best sleep I've gotten in a long while, he says while looking at the ground,
Me too, you say smiling back at him, same thing tonight you ask,
All he does is nod,
Before you hear someone clear their throat interrupting your conversation,
