Payton's POV:
after Ava, Avani, Charli, Nessa, Mads and Kio left, i got an idea.
"okay, what do you wanna ask?" she gave out the most cutest giggle.
"if someone asked you out, where would you want it?" i asked.
"well, i would probably want to go on a date near the beach then watch the sunset with that boy and he would probably ask me out there" she ranted. "ooo then we go skinny dipping or just go swimming in the sea" she added.
i nodded and was listening as i was adding it onto my notes.

"oooo we can have a party together at night! i'll text everyone! we can go to my house and have it" Josh smiled.
"and what is this occasion for?" i asked.
i know Josh. he only does parties if he's bored of there's a celebration. everyone was acting super suspicious today and i'm the only one who doesn't know why.
Josh looked at Ava for some reason. she looked back and replied.
"because it's almost america's birthday" she answered.
"oh yeah! i forgot about that" i chuckled.
that doesn't answer why they're all so suspicious. Ava kept having secret conversations with everyone but me, but at least she hangs out with me.

"okay so since they left, what do we do?" Noah asked.
"well, i was thinking of going to ikea so i can get a few things" i replied.
"sure, what are they for?" Noah asked.
"i'm getting a table, cute chairs, candles, a tent and yeah, i guess" i replied.
"why?" he asked.
"oh it's for Ava. this is her dream date and i was going to ask her out maybe tomorrow" i blushed at the thought of her being mine.
"you know-" Josh was cut off by Sissy "awe that's so cute!! yep! let's go to ikea"
i smiled and we all got in the car. Sissy nudged Josh and whispered something i couldn't understand.
