Chapter 5

Izuku sneezed as he walked through the corridors of U.A. Izuku paused & looked around him, someone is definitely talking behind his back.

After reaching his class he lazily walked inside his class & greeted his two female friends before plopping down in his seat. He has a gut feeling that today's class will also be going to extremely boring!

Before noon they have normal lessons for all the required subjects, which he spends dozing off. At noon Izuku and his two friends gather at the canteen to taste the first-rate cuisine made by the cooking hero lunch rush and oh, the foods are very cheap.

And then finally the afternoon class... the class everyone except Izuku was waiting for is soon going to commence in a few moments!

"IT'S MEEEEE!" Izuku grimaced on hearing the loud brash voice.

"THROUGH THE DOOR, LIKE A VERY NORMAL PERSON!!!"

"That ain't normal..." Mumbled Izuku, while wondered if the age is finally getting to All Might.

"I can't believe it! All Might's really gonna be teaching us...!!!"

"That design's is of silver age! That art style clashes so much it's giving me chills..." Exclamation of awes came from his classmates.

"Foundational hero studies! For this class, we'll be building up your hero foundation through various trails!" All Might said while posing.

"Let's jump right in with this!!" The man cried out with great enthusiasm and showed them a card with "Battle" written in bold words.

"The trail of Battle!!" Exclaimed All Might.

"The trail of Battle...?" Repeated who is sitting beside him repeated.

"This is going to be awesome, I can feel it!" Katsumi cracked her knuckles.

"And to go with your battle... We've prepared the gear we had you send in requests to match your quirks!" All Might added, igniting the fire of excitement to max.

"Our battle gear!!!" "Awesome!!" 90% of the class cried out excitedly.

"My costume..." Izuku mumbled as his eyes lingered down at his bag where he kept the storage seal.

"Get changed and we'll be ready to go! Everyone gather at grounds 0! The garb you bring into the battle is vitally important, boys and girls!!" All Might grinned.

"And don't forget! From here on out. Yours all officially heroes!!" Added All Might with his signature grin and left the classroom.

All Might leads class 1-A to training ground zero. Izuku dons a black cloak with purple lining, and a grey, long-sleeved, collared shirt, over which he wears a periwinkle vest. He also wears black pants, a purple belt, two dark grey fingerless gloves, donned his Sensei's forehead protector on his left arm, a pair of brown leather belts with a black sheath for Kusanagi blade, a dark brown shuriken holster, and brown shinobi boots.

Izuku studied his classmates and noticed that the Toga girl is wearing a costume similar to her big sister, Ryukyu, she wore a dark, traditional qipao with a scale trim around her shoulders, which seems to only be slit on the left side, and knee-high boots, a strap around her exposed thigh.

His eyes lingered on Momo 'Well a little too revealing' He thought before his eyes landed on his two friends, who are looking at him with deep blushes adorned on their face.

Melissa's costume consisted of a dark, sleeveless bodysuit with a high collar, yellow elbow-length gloves, and white knee-high boots. Around her waist was a belt with an angular golden buckle, a small cape attached around the back which hung down to her knees, and over her shoulders was a longer cape, buttoned to the shoulders of her bodysuit.

Katsumi's costume is composed of a tight, black, sleeveless tank top, with an orange "X" across the middle, forming a v-neck. There are two dots along the left line of her collar, indicating the support company that designed her costume. Her costume also has a metallic neck brace worn with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. Her sleeves reach from within her large grenade-like gauntlets to her biceps. Her belt, which also carries grenades, holds up her baggy pants with knee guards, below which she sports black, knee-high combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. And lastly, her mask is jagged and black, and as it goes around her eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protrudes from each side.

"They suit you two well..." Izuku commented as he approached them. "T-Thank you..." Both of them stutter out, not only them but almost every girl on the field is stealing glances at him from time to time, Izuku looks sharpened more when he wore his costume, and top of that he carried himself, confident, powerful, and dominating. 

"Let's see what you are made of, you embryos! It's time for the trial of battle!!!" All Might cried out showing great enthusiasm.

"I'm liking everyone's styles! very cool!!" All Might exclaimed as he gave them a thumbs-up, and then donned his serious face.

"This is going to be a one and one battle between you guys and us teachers" Exclaimed All Might as he pointed towards a building. Izuku and his classmates turned his head, only to find Midnight, Aizawa, Present Mic, Vlad King, Ectoplasm, Cementos, and Snipe, walking out of the gates of the building.

"You Embryos are going to fight us!" All Might repeated, putting everyone except Izuku on the edge.

"For this training, we'll have you guys go against us in a one and one duel, your opponent will be chosen by lottery, if you guys can stand on your ground up to five minutes, you win, or if you can defeat us then you know the drill!" Said All Might as he placed two wooden boxes before the group.

"And the first pairs to do combat will be the following!" All Might shoved his hands into the hole on top of the box and took out two folded parchments from the boxes.

"Todoroki Shoto Vs Aizawa Shouta!" Declared All Might. Todoroki without wasting another second walked on to the arena couple of yards away from the group.

"This is not going to go well for the kid" Midnight commented as she watched Aizawa lazily walked on to the stage.

"yeah..." Present Mic and others nodded at her words. As soon as All Might started the match, Shoto waved his palms at Aizawa, with the intention of covering Aizwaa with Ice, but nothing happened!

"My quirk?" Before he could comprehend what the hell is going, Aizawa already rendered him immobile with his capturing tape.

"You lost!" Aizawa commented to the shock-struck Shoto. "H-How?" Asked Shoto. "My quirk gives me the ability to nullify another person's Quirk by looking at the user" Aizawa drawled lazily as he released the kid from the clutches of his capturing tape.

"T-That's..." Shoto opened his mouth to say something but changed his mind and swallowed, before walking down the arena in silence.

"Well, that was fast... The second pairs will be..." All Might grinned on seeing the two names "Izuku Midoriya Vs Me!" 

A predatory grin found its way on Izuku's face on hearing this, oh he will be going to so enjoy this!! 

Izuku used Shunshin no Jutsu and appeared on the arena before All Might "Shall we dance, All Might?" Chills run down All Might spine on seeing the dark grin on Izuku's face.
