It's a story about a girl called Ember Yale, who is a werewolf and an omega in her pack. She is a little shy but, not exactly a nerd. She is rejected by her mate Alpha Kane, when she was in high school. The story continues when she is in college.
I like the fact that she is a fighter, she didn't let the rejected change her life entirely and she tried to make a better more positive difference in her life. She stood her ground and faced her problems head on.
For the characters when you think you have found a deep understanding of who they are, they just spring up something fascinating about them which makes it exciting to read. I think the writer did an amazing job at that.
