The Date

No One's POV

Two weeks after the tournament Akashii was in (Y/N)'s workstation as it was riddled with tools, parts, inventions, equipment, and dirty rags. She looked around, "Wow, there is so many things in here." (Y/N) then hung from a beam on the ceiling and appeared in front of her, "Good morning Akashii." Akashii jumped a little to lightly hit (Y/N), "Don't scare me like that!" "I am sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." "It's ok. Just get down from there please." "I can't." "Why?" "I'm stuck. I've been stuck for an hour." Akashii looked up to see that (Y/N)'s left foot was caught between the beam and the ceiling, "How can I help?" "Punch the beam." "You sure?" "Yes." Akashii got ready to bring her arm back and punch the beam making (Y/N) fall.

He landed on his back for Akashii to look down, "Are you ok?" (Y/N) quickly got back up on his feet, "I am alright. Now come with me." (Y/N) walked somewhere into the large room he called his workstation for Akashii to follow. He soon stopped at a workbench as there was a shield on it, "I need your help with this." "A shield? Is this for Helios?" "Yep, he wants a shield and he has asked me to make him one." "So what do you need my help with?" "I need you to pick it up, and charge at a stone wall with it." "I don't really like shields, but ok." She picked it up to put his arm through the leather loops and got in front of a metal wall that (Y/N) made as practice for his inventions.

She then charged at the wall to hit it and make it crack, but she was surprised as a wave of force came from the front of the shield breaking the wall. (Y/N) walked up to Akashii, "Success." "What was that?" "A sonic force. When something hits the shield it absorbs the impact and when it hits the enemy it shoots all of that impact back." Akashii's eyes sparkled, "That is so cool." "Th- Thanks." He took the shield to set it down, "Now there is something else that I want to finish today." Akashii followed him to reach a tall machine, "What is that?" "I call it a radio tower. I am trying to build communication devices for everyone in the guild. This can connect them all. I want everyone to be able to call for help or ask something that will help them while they are out." "Wow, that is really cool." 

(Y/N) opened a panel for it to have multiple wires inside, "I have to connect more of these, but to do that I need to get under it. He grabbed a rope to Akashii, "Please pull on this." Akashii grabbed it and pulled to left the radio tower for (Y/N) to get under it, take the bottom off, and begin messing with the wires. Akashii had no trouble keeping it up for a while until (Y/N) came back up, "All good." Akashii let it back down for (Y/N) to grab a screwdriver, "Now just need to tighten a few things. He went to tighten a screw, but stopped to look at Akashii, "Do you want to do it?" Akashii got a little shy, "Oh no, I'll probably just break it." "No you won't, come on." 

Akashii took the screwdriver and began tightening screws as she remembered what Helios had told her, "Wait, your going to help (Y/N) in his workstation?" Akashii nodded, "Yeah." "You need to be careful." Akashii raised an eyebrow for Helios to continue, "Everyone else on the team has helped him in there. And he has blown up at us. Just don't touch any of his stuff, don't touch any of his tools, and whatever you do don't break anything." 

And here she was doing the two things that Helios said not to do, and (Y/N) was acting normal. After a while (Y/N) looked up at it, "Just needs a few more days of check ups, and then just needs to be moved to the guild." Akashii was not looking at the tower though as she was looking at (Y/N), especially his eyes, 'I've never seen him so happy. It's good to see him doing this.' She then spotted a large blanket over something, "What's that?" "Nothing. Don't worry about it. So what else can we do?" (Y/N) began walking around as he was thinking about what to do Akashii went over to another table to pick something up. She examined it to accidentally press a button shooting an arrow out. She dropped the weapon to then hear (Y/N) fall.

She quickly turned around to see (Y/N) pick himself up as he held his cheek, "What the hell?" She walked up to him, "I am so sorry! I didn't know what that thing was! Are you ok?!" (Y/N) looked at her, "Yeah I'm fine. It just cut my cheek a little. Nothing a bandage can't help." "I'll get bandages!" (Y/N) told her where they were for Akashii to get them, 'Why isn't he mad? I shot an arrow at him and broke that thing when I dropped it.' She bandaged (Y/N)'s cheek for him to give a thumbs up, "Alright, now where were we." He then continued with what he was doing for Akashii's heart to tug a little. The two spent a few more hours in there to then go to the guild.

A Week Later

Akashii was outside practicing with other members, to stop as she saw (Y/N) walking up to her. He had a roller with him as the thing under the blanket was on it, and the blanket was still on it. He stopped in front of Akashii, "Good morning Akashii." "Good morning (Y/N). Came to train?" "No, I actually wanted to give you this." He pulled the blanket off to reveal a full set of armor, "I thought that you may like this." Akashii's eyes sparkled, her mouth became agape, and she dropped her club. (Y/N) picked up the up the upper piece, "Do you wanna-" Akashii grabbed it, "Yes!" She put the armor on as if though it was a new dress. When she got all of the armor on it was light, snug, the color matched her skin had red lines as the main color was black. The arm pieces was not connected to her shoulders allowing her to move her arms freely. The armor covered her stomach, her chest except for a little bit of her upper chest. It protected her legs and she was surprised at how she could bend her knees and move freely. 

She was worried about how light the armor was though, until (Y/N) asked one of the other ogres to swing their weapon at Akashii. Akashii stood there for the male ogre to swing his club. When it connected Akashii did not move as she was happily surprised. She barely felt anything and the armor did not even have a scratch. She looked at (Y/N), "This is amazing!" (Y/N) rubbed the back of his neck as he his cheeks became a little red, "I- I'm glad that you like it. I wanted to make sure that you're safe when fighting. I know that you can handle yourself, but I just wanted to protect you from archers and spells."

 Akashii felt her heart tug hard as she listened to how much he cared about her and what he did to give her the best armor that he could make for her. She did not hesitate to walk up to (Y/N), wrap her arms around his neck, brought her hand behind his head, and kiss him, 'I love him! I love him! I love him!' (Y/N) was surprised to soon kiss back as he wrapped his arms around Akashii's waist. Akashii separated from the kiss to put her forehead on (Y/N)'s forehead with her horns rub the sides of his head, "Thank you (Y/N). I love it." "I'm glad that you do. I loved that kiss." Akashii's cheeks then became red, "That was my first." "Mine too." Meanwhile Ani and Seldarine watched what just happened along with everyone who was outside. Ani put her hand over her mouth as Seldarine was not fazed by this.
