3rd Person POV
SADIE: I knew we'd hit trouble after Dr Saltzman was removed from headmaster...I just didn't think we'd hit trouble so soon
The pack is standing in the hallway when Landon walks over
"Um... Excuse me." Landon says
Sadie looks around at her wolves
She takes a step over to Landon and stands next to him, turning to her pack
This gesture did not go over well as Sadie and Landon received rude looks
Jed pushes through the group
He joins Sadie and Landon
"Hey. Show a little respect." Jed says. "These two killed Malivore."
The pack responds happily
They part through the middle
Landon walks through, pulling Sadie with him
A kid walks over to the two
"Hey, Landon! Sarah!" He greets. "Can I get your autographs?" He asks, handing his notebook to the two
"Uh, sure." Landon says, signing the book
Landon holds the book and pen out for Sadie
Sadie crosses her arms, raising her eyebrows and staring at Landon
"I'll, uh, just sign that for her..." Landon trails off, scribbling 'S. Nightshade' on the paper
The boy leaves
Landon and Sadie talk
Josie walks over and Landon stares at her
Landon walks over and they talk
"So you're popular now." Josie says
"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" Landon says
"Uh, too popular to still take me to dinner tonight?" Josie asks
"No. We have to get the first date out of the way sometime, right?" Landon says. Josie lets out a small laugh. "That was a joke. Yes. I'm excited."
"Oh. Me, too." Josie says. "Uh, do you know where your classes are?"
Josie and Landon both pull out Landon's schedule
Sadie, with her back to the two and listening, facepalms
"Oh..." Josie trails off. "Good. You don't need this, then. I will... I'll see you at assembly."
They have an awkward goodbye
Landon turns away from Josie and starts walking
Landon grabs Sadie by the arm as he passes and pulls her with him
Sadie hangs her head as they walk, laughing slightly
"That was hilarious." Sadie tells Landon
"Less judging more helping." Landon tells her
"I don't know what to say, Lan." Sadie tells him as they stop in the hallway. "The only advice I got for you is...good luck." She says with a shrug
"Thanks, wow, that was...so helpful." Landon mocks her in a sarcastic voice
Sadie shrugs
"Let's just make it through this assembly before..." Sadie is cut off by her yawn. "...before I fall asleep."
"More nightmares?" Landon asks as they start walking down the hall again towards the assembly hall
"This one was different." Sadie says
