"I never thought I'd fall for him"

Part one

It was Fall and I was on my way to school, it was cold, so I wore a scarf and a sweater over my school uniform.
Y/n thinking: its pretty cold today, maybe I should've brought my jacket.
???: morning y/n
I turned to the side to see my best friend, kageyama.
Y/n: good morning Kageyama.
Kageyama: its pretty cold today, did you bring any other sweater?
Y/n: no I didn't expect it to get this cold.
Kageyama: aish, lets hurry to the classroom to warm up a bit.
Y/n: yeah okay.
My friend, kageyama is a volleyball player, setter to be exact, he seems pretty rude At first because of his scary face, but once you get to know him he's really great. I've had a crush on him since the first time I talked to him. He was very kind. I could never tell him that I liked him, because I didn't think he would like me back. Just being with him made me happy.
In the classroom
Y/n: its a bit warmer in here...
Kageyama: yeah kinda.
Then class started
Me and kageyama have different classes, we only have the same class for science.
I was paying attention class until i got a text message. It was from kageyama.
Kageyama: (t) hey y/n, you there? 9:22am
Y/n: (t) yes? What do you want? 9:23am
Kageyama: (t) I want to tell you something, but I'll tell you at lunch. Okay? 9:23am
Y/n: (t) okay. 9:24am.
At lunch break.
Y/n: you said you needed to tell me something? What was it?
Kageyama: okay well I wanted to tell you that...
He was blushing while he said that.
Kageyama: I really like...
Y/n thinking: what is he saying! Is he confes-
Kageyama: I really like c/n(crushes name) from class 1-C, I wanted you to help me ask her out.
Y/n: oh...okay..
I was heart broken when I heard him say that to me.
Kageyama: y/n?
Y/n: ah-yeah?
Kageyama: will you help me?
Y/n: I-why? Just ask her out yourself!
Kageyama: please I cant do it without your help...please?
Y/n: I-*sigh* fine. What did you need me to do?
Kageyama: I actually don't know, but can you like get me and her closer to each other, we only talk a bit during 5 period. And you have more classes with her.
Y/n: So you want me to talk to her and ask her to hangout with us and get her closer to you?
Kageyama: Yeah, I guess.
Y/n: okay then! I'll go ask her. See ya!
Kageyama: wait!?! ask her what!?
Y/n: you'll see!
I went to go find c/n.
Y/n: hey c/n!
C/n: oh hey y/n. *smiles* what are you doing?
Y/n: nothing I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to come with me and a friend of mine to the arcade to hang out tomorrow?
C/n: oh-I'm sorry, I can't I don't want to be a nuisance to you guys...
Y/n: don't say that! Now please come along with us?
C/n: oh well I guess.
Y/n: yay! Thanks a lot! I'll see you tomorrow.
C/n: y-you too!
I then left.
After school
Me and kageyama were walking home together since we lived next to each other.
Kageyama: so what did you ask c/n?
Y/n: I asked her if she would like to join us at the arcade tomorrow.
Kageyama: what did she say!?
Y/n:...she said no.
Kageyama: aw really?
He got sad.
Y/n: h-hey relax, I'm just playing, she said yes.
Kageyama: REALLY!? He smiled in excitement
I've never seen him smile like that before.. I guess she's really special to him..
y/n: yeah..
After a while of talking someone ran up to us.
???: what are you guys doing? I could hear the king yelling from all the way back there..
Kageyama: Quit calling me king!?
Tsukishima: oh, hey y/n
Kageyama: Don't ignore me!?
Y/n: hey kei.
Tsukishima: can you stop screaming, your hurting my ears.
Y/n: hey kei, did you want to join me, kageyama, and c/n at the arcade tomorrow?
Tsukishima: why?
I whispered into kei's ear and said
Y/n: because I'll be a third wheel now please come?
Tsukishima: *sigh* fine.
Kageyama: wait!? Why do you want him to go!?
Y/n: because? Why not?
Kageyama: I-ugh never mind he can come..
Tsukishima: thanks...king..
Kageyama: Your welcome-and I said to stop calling me king!?
The next day was a weekend, I had already texted c/n, we were all going to pick her up.
I knew it was a hangout but I decided to dress up anyway. I wore a white skirt with a black, crop top shirt. Then I also wore black leggings. And a sweater. I left my hair down, and put a bit of makeup on.
I then went to kageyama's house, next door, to see if he was ready.
He opened the door
Y/n: kageyama are you ready-
I saw kageyama wearing a pick sweatshirt and white jeans.
Y/n: uhh-are you trying new styles out-thats good, but this is definitely out of your comfort zone.
Kageyama: yeah but I heard c/n say that she like cutesy things, so i thought of this....is it okay?
Y/n: yeah sure! Now lets get going kei's here!
Kageyama: okay.
Tsukishima was waiting outside for us.
Tsukishima: you guys sure took long.
Y/n: yeah sorry. Now lets hurry!
I drove us to c/n's house.
C/n: hey guys!
Y/n: hey c/n! Get in
C/n: okay!
She sat next to kageyama, while tsukishima and i were sitting up front, i was driving.
We arrived at the arcade.
Y/n: did you guys bring money?
Kageyama: I- I forgot..
Tsukki: I didnt because I thought the king was going to pay...?
Kageyama: why you-
Y/n: okay then I'll pay!
C/n: no its fine y/n I can pay...
Y/n: no no its fine I got it.
C/n: if you insist.
I used my money to buy wristbands and to get tokens for the games.
Y/n: what should we do first?
Kageyama: how about we split up?
Y/n: perfect, I'll go with kei. C/n, you can go with kageyama.
C/n: oh okay.
Tsukki: good. I don't have to be with him..
Kageyama glared at tsukki.
Then we went separate ways. The arcade was big, so we wouldn't bump into each other again for a while.
Tsukki: so what do you want to do?
Y/n: I dunno...
I then spotted a photo booth.
Y/n: lets take some pictures!
Tsukki: why-
I pulled kei's wrist and walked to the booth.
Y/n: now you need to smile. Okay?
Tsukki: no.
Y/n: please?
Tsukki: no.
Y/n: please?
Tsukki:no.
Y/n: please?
Tsukki: *sigh* fine. Only once.
Y/n: yes! Now smile!
We took eight pictures since I thought that tsukki wanted some pictures of us for himself too.
Y/n: here kei!*gives him four of the opictures we took*
Tsukki: oh..thanks..
Y/n: no problem!
I was having a lot of fun with kei, then I forgot that kageyama was with c/n. And it made me upset again.
Tsukki: whats with your face? You were happy a minute ago?
Y/n: what-ah no its nothing. Its just I was hoping that kageyama was having fun too...with c/n..
Tsukki: do you like the king?
Y/n: what!? w-why do you t-think that!? Of course I-I d-don't like k-kageyama!?
Tsukki: judging by your reaction I'm guessing you do.
Y/n: *sigh* you better not tell him..I don't want to ruin our friendship..
Tsukki: I won't.
Y/n: thanks a lot kei..
After a bit I was feeling better. Then we spotted c/n and kageyama. C/n was do the dance game, where you follow the steps on the screen and try to get a high score, its mostly a game that you play with some else to see who gets a higher score.
After she finished we waked over to them.
Y/n: hey guys! Are you playing this?
Kageyama: yeah.
C/n: hey guys, y/n wanna join me? Lets see who gets a higher score?
Y/n: no no I'm okay...
Tsukki: go on y/n, don't be scared.. heh
Y/n: shut up...fine lets play.
The steps started off slow, and then he pace started to speed up. We were neck to neck, until she had missed a step and then lost.
Y/n: nice job c/n!
C/n: thanks y/n! You too
Y/n: Thanks!
Kageyama: good job c/n, you did great.
C/n: thanks kageyama-kun!*smiles at kageyama*
Kageyama: O-oh its-your welcome. *blushing*
I stared at kageyama as he blushed...at her..
Y/n: I'm getting kinda bored here. Should we go somewhere else?
Tsukki: yeah same here
C/n: how about we go to my house?
Y/n: yeah sure! Lets go.
I drove us to c/n house to hang out.
Y/n: sorry for being a bother here c/n-sama.
C/n: oh no its fine!
Y/n: okay if you say so...
We went inside and c/n served us some drinks and sandwiches.
Y/n: thank you c/n
C/n: your welcome.
Kageyama: your sandwiches are amazing, they're the best.
Kageyama almost ate the whole platter of sandwiches.
C/n: thanks a lot kageyama-kun! Thats very sweet of you!
Kageyama looked at her while blushing.
I couldn't stand watching them. I suddenly stood up.
C/n: are you okay y/n?
Y/n: I'm fine, I just remembered that me and kei had to go do something. We will see you guys at school on Monday. Goodbye!
I grabbed kei's hand and we walked out of c/n's house.
Tsukki: you okay y/n?
Y/n: I- I'm fine..
Tsukki: c'mon.
Kei and me walked somewhere, I had no idea where we were going.
Y/n: kei, where we going?
Tsukki: just wait you'll know when we get there.
We walked for a bit. Then We arrived.
We arrived at a little lake.
It was the lake I went to whenever I was sad. I didn't think that kei would know that, I've never even told kageyama about this place.
Y/n: why'd you bring me here?
Tsukki: why not? I like this place.
Y/n:...I guess..
I walked up to the lake and bent down to touch the water.
Y/n: the waters cold.
I then started to take off my shoes and leggings
Tsukki: what are you doing?
Y/n: taking off my shoes, leggings?
Tsukki: why?
Y/n: so I can dip my feet in the water.
Tsukki: you'll get a cold.
Y/n: Don't worry I'm fine.
I stood up in the lake. It was nice.
After I finished touching the water, I tried to dry up.
The wind was very cold as it brushed my wet legs.
Y/n: ah-thats cold!
Tsukki: I told you, you were gonna get cold, here.
He put his sweatshirt over my body.
Y/n: t-thanks *shivering*
Tsukki: its fine, now lets go, I'll take you home.
Y/n: o-okay. *shivering*
We walked back to the car and kei drove me home.
At my home
Y/n: wanna come inside kei?
Tsukki: ...sure..
I look to the side at kageyamas house, but I assumed that he wasn't home yet.
Y/n: lets go inside.
Tsukki: okay.
We went inside.
Y/n: just make yourself comfortable, I'm gonna change since I'm cold.
Tsukki: okay.
I went to my room.
Y/n thinking: what should I wear? Maybe something warm.
I wore a large long sleeved shirt, come sweats, and just left my hair down.
Y/n: I'm back! Sorry did I take long?
Tsukki: no your fine.
Y/n: okay...want something to eat? I'll make something for us.
Tsukki: sure.
I walked over to the kitchen to decide on what to make.
Y/n thinking: what should I make? I guess i should make some thing warm for the weather, and maybe a desert? I'll just make a simple starwberry shortcake for desert, and tamagoyaki for lunch.
I started to make the food. It was pretty hard, but I pulled through.
Y/n: I'm finished..*sigh* lets eats!
Tsukki: okay
We sat at the table and ate, I left the strawberry shortcake as a surprise for later after we finish eating.
Tsukki: thanks for the food y/n..its good
Y/n: your welcome!
Tsukki: I thought you would be a terrible cook.
Y/n: hey! *angry*
Tsukki: im just playing.
After we finished eating.
Tsukki:thanks for the foo-
Y/n: here!
I brought out the strawberry shortcake to the table.
Y/n: want some?
Tsukki: no I'm full.
Y/n: please? This took me a long time to make!
I kept begging him to eat it.
Tsukki: *sigh* fine.
Y/n: yayy!
I cut him a slice and handed it to him. He took a bite. I watched him eat it to see his reaction.
Tsukki: ...its not as bad as I thought....
Y/n: thank you-wait you thought it was gonna be bad!? Your so mean!
Tsukki: yeah thanks.
Y/n: your so mean.
I took a bite of the shortcake. Then suddenly tsukki's fave was near mine and he kept leaning closer to me and...
