Scars | Harry Potter x Reader (taking a pause)

Year 1: Busted Lip

Harry and the Weasley twins forbid you from going out at night since because they were nervous as it wasn't normal for you to just disappear at night.

"You don't understand I have to!" you would tell them. You wanted to talk to the moon as you knew you could talk to someone through it but you couldn't.

It was dinner a week before holiday break.

"Sooo Y/n and Harry we have a question!" the twins told you and Harry. "We were wondering if you wanted to spend holiday break with us at the Burrow?!".

"I don't know-" you started to say when Harry said

"I'll go!"

"Yeah I guess I'll go too!"

The twins gave each other a look and looked back at you and Harry. You all talked for the rest of dinner.

After that you all go to the Gryffindor common room and they make sure they walk with you because they are worried about you disappearing all of a sudden every night.

"I'll be right back. I have to use the washroom." you said which was actually true.

"No I know you are going to suddenly disappear again!" Harry said concerned.

"But I actually have to you can wait right outside of it if you want if you're that concerned."

"Fine I trust you just come back to the Gryffindor common room right after and no detours!"

"Ok mum!"

You laughed and then left. You were only planning to go to the washroom like you had said. You didn't want to betray your friends.

After you got out of the washroom, you started walking back to the Gryffindor common room when you heard someone walking in the halls. You didn't panic though because it wasn't after hours.

Once they turned the corner you heard them call out "Y/l/n! Betraying your own house now are you?" and you recognized the voice of Malfoy.

You ignored him and just kept walking faster.

"Leaving so fast now are we?"

You kept walking faster and faster until you were in a run. He had started running after you as well. You were pretty fast but he also was. You ran to the courtyard and through the grass. He had caught up to you and then tackled you to the round.

"Get off of me Malfoy!"

"Why don't you come hang out with your own house for once and not with those dweebs?"

"Shut up and get off of me I said!"

"Only if you come with me"

You slapped him in the cheek hard to the point he fell off of you on the ground in pain. You got up and started running to the Gryffindor common room again and saw Harry walking angry in the halls.

"Harry!" you said running up hugging him.

He pushed you up till you fell to the ground.

"What was that for?!"

"You said you were coming straight back. Look at you you're filthy!"

"I'm sorry Harry someone tackled me to the ground until I slapped them"

"Who was it?!"

"Erm uh well it was Malfoy"

"Oh I'm gonna kill that prick!"

"No Harry seriously! I already finished it! No need to make it worse."

"Fine but if he lays another hand on you, he's going to regret it. Let's go back and get you washed up you're filthy!"

You and Harry walked back to the Gryffindor common room.

"What happened to you?!" George called out.

"Just got caught up with something"

Harry grabbed you and told you to sit on the couch. You did as he wished and he came back with a little box. It had bandages, medicine, and other things in it. He sat down next to you.

"Now face me"

You turned to him and he also had a damp rag in his hand. He started to wipe the blood on your nose as you realized you got blooded up when Malfoy shoved you to the ground. You had a bloody nose, your lip was busted open, and a scratch on your forehead. He wiped the blood off of the spots and then put this medicine stuff on them. Your lip was the worse out of the few.

"This might sting so don't scream"

You sat there still and he started wiping cotton ball with some type of medicine on it and it instantly stung.

"Ah!" you said aloud.

"I told you to be quiet or it'll just wipe off."

He then started wiping the cotton ball on your lip again and you clenched up and closed your eyes and grabbed the other arm he wasn't using.

He then placed some type of wrap bandage thing on your lip to stop the bleeding. Then he placed a normal bandaid on the scratch on your forehead and it wasn't bleeding bad.

"Keep this up and you'll take Madam Pomfrey's job!" you laughed to him.

"Oh shut it!" he said also laughing.

The twins gave each other the same look they did at dinner for the whole time Harry was helping you. Hermione was curled up on the chair reading a book and Ron was eating some candy his mum had sent him.

That night you all laughed and talked and you decided it would be better for you to sleep on the Gryffindor couch tonight since you had tried getting used to sleeping in your dorm. You fell asleep and everyone went to bed.
