⚠️ Trigger Warning - Suicide ⚠️
⚠️subtle mention of domestic abuse & death⚠️I stand on my balcony, fingering the inside of my hoodie sleeves, the ground is damp from the morning dew. I feel a cool breeze wrap around me, edging and pushing me towards the edge. I take in the sounds of the rain forest for the last time, the birds calling out to each other, finding sanctuary in their company reminding me of what I once had. The ruffling of the leaves brings me back from my trip to memory lane. I hear angry yells coming from the far end of my house. I gaze at the different shades of green mixing magnificently with the periwinkle lake. The yells behind me get louder. If I don't take this chance I may never get another. I take a deep breath and fall.
