Three Months Before...
My eyes glance again towards Khloe Uhrin.
I haven't seen her since June, her dad got out of jail for 'good behavior' and her family decided to spend the rest of summer in Sacramento.
Her dad's side of the family lives there.
Jocelyn, my date, apparently is best friends with Khloe.
They met during the summer.
Khloe glances over at me but when she notices I'm already looking at her, she turns away quickly.
Five-year-old me is begging to come out. He's in need of speaking out, reaching out to her.
Sometimes I miss my best friend, the girl I once called 'Rose'. But the memory of what she did always runs in my mind.
