But for real, future calamities cannot only rely on infinite donation drives. We need a competent government and a leader that cares for their people. (Yes, tangina mo Du🐢 and fuck you, Mr. Tr*mp. Get the fuck out of your offices.) I am really glad for the LGUs and the OVP for actually doing something. But that's just bare minimum. The Filipino people deserves more than this.

YOU SHOULD HAVE SPENT THE COUNTRY'S MONEY ON PROJECTS THAT ACTUALLY BENEFITS THE PEOPLE.

YOU SHOULD HAVE FOCUSED ON SPENDING IT IN CONTROLLING THIS PANDEMIC.

WE DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY.

Yes, I am mad. It's not right to always tolerate the incompetencies of the government. By doing that YOU are promoting toxic positivity. And NO, Filipinos are not resilient! Don't romanticize that because we/they are simply ignored by these officials. What can we do?

And also, demand CLIMATE JUSTICE!

Stop the quarries, stop the deforestation, stop capitalism, make the large companies pay, stop silencing activists, stop evicting indigenous people from their hometowns, STOP DENYING CLIMATE CHANGE.
