{PERSONALITY} Personality | From an outside perspective, Margot is someone who holds herself very well, and the kind of girl plenty of guys might find themselves admiring from a distance. She's proper, beautiful, and not too full of herself... but she struggles to find an identity. It's hard to get to know the true Margot, past her shyness and her flirty exterior... but when someone does, they're in for a treat– she's actually quite hilarious, and despite the fact that she was taught manners from a young age, she has a crude sense of humor and sarcasm that defies description. She can be mature and a great listener whenever she has to be (such as in serious situations), but deep down, she enjoys a good time.
Backstory | She and her brother are "Irish twins," meaning that they were born less than a year apart (her brother is the older one). He was always the charismatic one, too— the person that boys and girls alike would flock to, and Margot was often the one that people would look at from a distance. She didn't have many friends, and she still doesn't— just because she intimidates the girls and makes the guys nervous. Why? Because, very distantly in her blood, she's part Veela. Sure, she isn't as adamantly beautiful as Fleur (they do share a great grandma, though!), but it's still enough for people to be too intimidated to talk to her... and it makes it worse, too, because she's actually quite shy when meeting people, and she finds herself depending on her brother to introduce her. She ended up turning to dance as an escape, and it's really the one thing that keeps her sane. That's especially true when it comes to the situation with her brother— which, long story short, he barely survived a werewolf attack, and... we all know how that turns out. So she helps lock him up during a full moon, and she defends his secret with her life. Not even her parents know about it. Things were rough at first, but got even worse when the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic later asked her brother to put his name in the Goblet of Fire... at least, with that, she was allowed to tag along with.
Insecurities | She doesn't have many physical ones, but she hates her personality. She wishes she were more charismatic and outgoing, and that people would get to know more than her face.
Fears | She is afraid of drowning, and of something bad happening to her brother... that, and when her brother turns into a werewolf (she's the only one who knows).
Mental Health | She does suffer from waves of depression, but she often keeps it to herself, and it doesn't show unless she's alone.
