"Tomoe please!" I scream out as I try backing away from him frantically. My feet sliding out from under me as I try to stand and run. I glance down and see a dark rusty red color all over my hands and legs. "Tomoe.." I whisper out choking back a sob "Please tell me this isn't what I think it is."

Tomoe towered over me. Even though I could feel the heat from his gaze I felt as though everything around me was cold.

"Can't you see I did this out of love." He paused looking over to what I can only assume is a body "No ." he snaps his head back "I'm doing this because no one else has ever made me feel like this and I'm not loosing you to anyone. I'll make sure you won't leave like the others."

He began to move closer to me eyes emotionless and empty. I tried to move back but I was cornered. He puts his had over my mouth and watches as I struggle to take it off. I look at him with terror filled eyes. He looks back at me and his eyes begin to soften slightly.

"You know I don't like to get violent with you princess." He says as he caresses my cheek "You just need to go to sleep and all of this will go away."

As he said that my vision begins to get blurry.

'I wish I had never met you.' I think as my consciousness fades in and out 'I wish I would have stayed home that night.'

The memory flashes across my mind of the brown haired girl running, my eyes widen and a tear falls. Because of her I am here, because of her I've discovered hell on earth.

November 12th 5:36pm
3 hours before y/n becomes the land god.

"Mizuki wait." I yell out laughing trying to keep up with her

"Hurry up!" She cries out "We can't miss him again y/n"

"Mizuki we won't miss him." I huff out as I grab her hand trying to slow her down "He gets there a 5:42 on the dot every day."

"I know but we have to get good seats." She exclaimed while pulling my arm causing me to start jogging lightly behind her

Mizuki and I got to the partially surrounded tree and some how managed to find a spot right in the front row. Mizuki pulls me to the patch of grass and we sit down in front of the tree that seems so magical.

"With just one minute to spare." Says Mizuki out of breath "We almost missed him, that would have been terri-" right before she was able to finish her sentence smoke began to circle around the tree.

I grabbed her hand and held my breath as I watched. Slowly the smoke began to settle and out popped fluffy white ears.

"He's so beautiful." Said Mizuki quietly "I wonder who he is waiting for."

"Do you think his ears are real?" I asked

Mizuki scoffed lightly before replying "You're stupid for believing they are real."
