"Exactly what are we doing today, Hagrid?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows at the huge brush Hagrid's hand is tightly holding. He also carried a silver steel bucket filled with water, placing it down on top of the grass, before walking back into his house.

"You'll see when we get there" He answered from inside, as I waited out in the cold humid air. The skies were cloudy and dark, but it's not raining, nor does it look like it will any time soon. It's rather rare the days where Hogwarts sees they rays of sunshine, even in the summer.

"Here, hold this for me, will ya?" Hagrid said, handing me a bottle of blue soap. So we're cleaning? Again?

I tried not to groan, as Hagrid kept on taking out cleaning supplies from his hut, placing them right outside. "That should be enough" He finally stopped, closing the door behind him and joining me outside. He glanced down at his pocket watch impatiently, before placing both of his hands against his waist.

"Now where are those two muppets at? They're ten minutes late!" Hagrid exclaimed, clearly annoyed by Malfoy and Felix's tardiness. I just hope they didn't forget, or just decided not to show up. It truly wouldn't surprise me if they did, to be honest.

"I don't really know, but I'm sure they'll be here soon enough" I assured him, flashing him a small smile.

"Right. Well, anyways, I'll take advantage of their irresponsibility to ask" He said, pausing to let out a painful grunt while he took a seat on the stone steps leading up to the front of his house. "How's Harry's egg been treatin' him? Has he cracked the code yet?" He asked.

"I'm actually not sure..." I answered, I had completely forgotten we're in the middle of the Triwizard Tournament, and quite frankly, I think Harry has too. Has he even touched the egg after I told him about the Merpeople?

"Well he better start figurin' it out! The second task is just around the corner, and let me tell ya, he needs to prepare himself for this one. It ain't pretty" Hagrid said, making the worry begin to rise inside of me.

Wait a minute, does he know what the second task is?

"Hagrid..." I said, watching as he raised his eyebrows in question. "If you had the slightest idea of what the second task is, you'd tell us...right?" I asked, raising a single brow at him in suspicion.

"Well why of course I would! Psh! Silly girl!" He said, letting out a nervous chuckle as he looked away from me, avoiding my gaze. If there's one thing I've learned about Hagrid over the years, it's that he's a horrible liar, the worst there is. He's also bad at keeping secrets, which is why he has to lie so constantly, but it's rather easy to get it out of him.

"Right..." I said, not believing a word he said, but dropping it anyways. Harry's better at getting him to talk more than I am, I know I won't get anywhere even if I tried.

"Well it took ya long enough!" Hagrid suddenly yelled, as something behind me caught his attention. I turned around, following his gaze, only to see Felix and Draco strolling our way with their hands stuffed inside their pockets. A relieved smile appeared on my face, as I watched them walk towards us.

"Hagrid" Felix greeted, giving Hagrid a little nod, before his eyes travelled towards me. "Gryffindor" He smirked, nodding towards me as well. I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"Slytherins" I said, smiling at the both of them. Draco winked at me discretely, making me have to hold in my blush.

"Alright" Hagrid said, pushing himself up the steps with a loud grunt. "Let's get goin' then, we've already wasted enough time. Devereux, carry that for me will ya?" He said to Felix, motioning towards the bucket of water. Felix nodded, doing as told without a care in the world.
