" Morning!" Scarlett smiles.
I open my eyes and sees my friends smiling down at me.
" 5 more minutes." I groan, throwing the blanket over my head.
Draven and MacKenzie flop on top of me, making me groan.
" Get off me, you jerks!"
They laugh and get off. I gasp for air and sit up.
" You guys are jerks."
" And you love us anyways."
I roll my eyes with a grin.
" Yeah, yeah."
Eric and Venssa come out from the kitchen.
" (Y/N), after breakfast we'll take you to go get your stuff."
I nodded. Scarlett looked at me.
" Get your stuff? What do they mean?"
" Oh.....umm....they said I could....move in. Is that okay with you?"
" Okay with me? Hell yeah it's okay with me!"
" Language!" Venssa snapped.
" Sorry mom."
We all shared a laugh and soon after breakfast Draven's and MacKenzie's parents came and got them. I got dressed and we left. Scarlett stayed at home to watch the house. When we turned down the road to my house, I sighed, seeing my parents car was not in the driveway. We pulled in and I got out. I went up to the front door and got the key from under the welcome mat. Unlocking the door, I walked in and headed for my room. I walked in, grabbed my bag and started packing, getting my clothes, a few pictures of my grandparents, my big gaming head set, and my laptop. Once I got everything, I headed back out and put my things in the trunk. I shut the trunk and got back into the car.
When we got back home, Dad helped me carry everything inside. We went to the spare room and saw that is was mainly used for storage. We all got to work, cleaning out the room and looking through the boxes. We found a few clothes and dresses that Scarlett never wore that I could wear.
" You can keep them if you're gonna wear them. If not we can drop them off at the goodwill." Mom said.
" I'll look through the clothes when we get the rest of this cleaned out."
She nods and we continued. I kept some stuff to decorate my new room with and kept most of the clothes in the boxes. When night came, we had supper and Scarlett and I goofed around. After a while, my new parents and scarlett went to bed. I got my cover and pillow, laying on the couch. I looked up at the shelf that my majora game was on and stood up. I got up and grabbed it. Dad had set up the system for the game earlier that day. I turned down the volume on the tv and put in the game. The intro to the game started and when I got to the menu, I saw a file named BEN. whoever this guy was, he was far into the game and was even on the finally day. It was a shame he never finished. I decided to keep the file there, out of respect. I made my own file, tilting it my name and started the game. The game ran smoothly and the only real problem with the game was that it would sometime call me BEN instead of my name. I got annoying but I kept on. Suddenly the game glitched and the screen freezes. I jump in surprise and look at the screen.
" Damn it. Did the game freeze?"
I got up and pulled out cartridge. I put it back in after the making sure it was clean on the inside. I looked back up at the screen, but it was all black. I turned on the lamp light next to the couch and sighed.
" Maybe it is broken or the system. Ill have to have Dad look at it tomorrow."
I turned off the TV and laid down on the couch. I threw the cover over me and tried to sleep.
I had a nightmare. I was in the middle of the ocean, trying to stay above the water, gasping for air and crying. I called out for my parents, my friends, looking around for land. Suddenly, I was jerked under the water. I looked down and saw a rusty chain. It was around my ankle and was dragging me down into the deep, dark water. Panicking and terrified, I tried to get loose, yanking and tuggling at the old chain. I heard a laugh and looked around. I couldn't hold my breath for much longer.
" You meant with a terrible fate, haven't you?" A glitchy, distored voice chuckled.
My vision got blurry and I gasped for air. The water filled my lungs, the horrible, burning feeling of the water going into me. The world went black.
My eyes shock open and i sat up straight in a cold sweat, gasping and shaking.
" (Y/N)!? What's wrong!?"
I looked up and saw Scarlett, sitting on the other end of the couch, my feet in her lap. I looked out the window and saw the sun was up. I looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was 9:30 am. I shaked and held myself. Scarlet hugged me.
" Nightmare?"
I nodded and shook.
" Easy, you're safe."
Yeah.....it was just a bad dream. Nothing more.
I nodded and stood up.
" I'm gonna go take a shower."
She nods and I grabbed an outfit from my bag. I went upstairs and walked upstairs. I walked intk the bathroom and locked the door. Turning on the water, I undressed and stepped into the shower. I washed off and tried to shake off that nightmare as best as I could. After my shower, I got out, got dressed and headed downstairs to join the others for some breakfast.
" Hey dad?"
" Yeah?" He asked, looked up at me.
" Can you look at the system for my majora game? I tried playing it last night but it froze and went to a black screen."
He furrowed his brows and nodded.
" Must be from where it's so old. I'll have a look at it later."
I nodded and thanked him. After breakfast, the day went about normally, but that nightmare nagged at me still.
Come on, (Y/N).....its just a dream.
