The end

As I scale the building I hear static in my ear from the communication device "Stone , are you sure you are ready for this alone ?" Stick asks from the ear piece . I grunt slightly " Of course ,this is the final hideaway for the remaining Hand ." I say annoyed He even asked . "I understand that , but Stone you are alone , and intel says there could be ten ninjas and Gorgon is the last obstacle. He has  a healing factor , and his gaze will turn you to stone , these are the main abilities to look out for ,but he is the head of the Hand for a reason . " Stick says concerned . I smile " Stick I will be ok ,remember you trained me and in your heyday I bet you could of taken him ." I said being a snarky ass. "Just remember if you need back up ask for it ." he says ending the conversation . I continue to scale the building until I come a crossed the vent . "Just as good an entrance as any I guess ." I think to myself . I undo the cover and slide in , I army crawl through it until I find an opening , I peek out and see no one is around . I drop down quietly and follow the lay out I had memorized before hand . I hear a few guards in front of me ,I stealthily come up behind them  pull out  my tanto knife and stab  one in the temple and pull him into a small janitorial closet . I then go after the other one and do the same thing to him , once he was placed into the closet  I move towards the main room . " I thought there were more guards , This could be a trap-?" I stop and sniff the air . "That's blood , a lot of it  ." I think to myself . I slowly open the door to the main room and I see Gorgon standing over the Hand guards covered in blood . I sneak into the room ,trying to be quiet  behind him . "Looks like I did your work for you Stone ." he said keeping his back to me . " He is daring me to attack him , I shouldn't be quick to attack ." I think to myself  'Why did you do this , to your clan?"  I ask questioning him . "They are no clan of mine , weak , pathetic. This is my way of a cleanse , ripping out the last of an infection . Now the healing can begin with recruits I train myself . No weakness will be tolerated , You are a strong warrior Stone  Why don't you join me , money , power , women , they can all be yours ."  He says turning to me slowly . I remember he can turn people to stone threw eye contact ." Thank you but no ." I say sternly . He laughed " You keep respect for you enemies ?" he asked " You are an enemy , but if I were about to die ,I would like my assailant to be polite . " I say with a small chuckle as I reach into my belt pulling out my nodachi and getting into my fighting stance . He growled "Then so be it ." He ran at me and jumped , bringing the sword down with extreme force . I Channeled my chi and prepared for the attack ,as I blocked it with my sword and braced myself the floor cracked from the brute force . He looked at me and I closed my eyes and pulled out a kunai and swipe it at his eyes . "Fuck , you idiot ." he jumped back and covered his eye . I then watched and counted while he was healing ." 1 2 3 4 5 6 7.......seven seconds until the healing begins . I can work with that I think ." I then pull out shuriken and throw them at him , he rolled to avoid them , I was waiting for him to be distracted . I moved fast during him rolling to evade the attack . He regained his upright position , I was already mid swing . I put all my force into it , I sliced at his neck . THUD.  I cut off his head .  I walked over to a dead Hand ninja and took a cloth from him and wrapped Gorgon's head . After setting carefully placed explosives  I blew the place as a symbol "The Hand is no more ." 

Time skip 

Later that night 

I entered the warehouse Stick set up as a hide out . As I walked into the office I saw him , my mentor Stick . "So did you get that bastard Stone ?" he asked . I smile "Yes , I did ,and I have his head with me , I think we should freeze it .  I have heard of people with healing factors coming back , but freezing it negates the healing process ." Stick nods and motions a low level Chaste member to take the head . " Do not look at it , it will kill you. " I warned , the member nodded . I turn my attention back to Stick " So ...What's next for you Stone ?" I sighed " I don't know , I never thought we would get here in my lifetime ,maybe settle down , maybe experience the world like a normal person ." Stick laughed " Stone you are just like me at your age , you will find trouble or it will find you , but regardless we will be here ready for that call . " he said with a sad smile . I walked up to him and hugged him "This man was a father to me ,he found me fed me and loved me . I hate to say goodbye but its part of the oath  we take . to slip back into obscurity of the world until we are needed to fight the Hand again . " I think to myself  . I pull away "Goodbye Stick , If you ever need anything you know how to reach me ." I say . he nodded then waved me away "Go on go live your life ." He said with a grin .As I walk out of the warehouse "Go live my life huh ?"

Time skip 

Two months later 

Walking down the street  in the early morning , I take a deep breath taking in the smells of the city . I head into the hustle and bustle of china town , enjoying the sights and sounds . I head into the different stores for groceries  , medicines,   and some new weapons . After buying  a a few kunai , and a new chain whip. I decide to grab some food to go , I stop by my favorite food stand right outside china town and buy some teriyaki chicken kabobs . As I walk and eat I notice a crowd  looking at something hidden behind a building , I walk to get a better look . "Oh shit , that's not good ." I see two female heroes fighting a man made of metal and they are not doing very well. I then see the crowd is just staring , not running. " Shit they are coming this way , I have to do something . "  I run into an ally and yell " Oh my god ,that monster is coming this way ." I wait for a reaction ......then there it is , yelling shouting ,and more importantly running . In no time the area is clear of people ,except a child left in the immediate area , I take out a bandanna and tie it around my face , as I do I hear " Stop that  from hitting the kid ." I then see a chain and ball flying through the air towards the child , I ran as fast as I could and shielded the child with my body using my chi to increase my durability. After it hit me I pick up the kid and take off running ,taking the kid to a safe area , Luckily their mother was there to take them . I turned to see the heroes getting closer to china town . I sigh " I'm going to have to get involved, aren't I ." I say to myself knowing the answer . I then see one of the heroes be thrown , The villain ran at her and gripped his hands together . He jumped into the air to build up extra power , and he was coming down to bash her with both his fists . As he brought them down I got there in time using my chi yet again ,I catch his arms as they come down . The force causes the ground to give way and break , While pushing me down .  He looked at me shocked as I pushed up both his arms and used that split second to land a solid punch on his chin sending him flying a crossed the park next to China town . I took a few steps to go after him ,but felt a hand on my shoulder . I stop and turn and see the red head I just saved ." No this is an Avenger matter , stand down ." she said barely catching her breath . I rolled my eyes and pulled my shoulder away "It stopped being just your matter when he got into china town . " I then run towards the man , he places his hand on the ground and then his body changes into asphalt. He stood up with a smile and ran at me as well. I took out my chain whip and when we got close enough he went to grab me , but I slid  between his legs , using my whip to wrap around his leg , I rolled and changed my position to face him and I yanked on the chain , causing him to fall forwards . Once on the ground I run up to him and charge my fist with chi and punch him repetitively  into the face  . He rolled over and touched my chain and changed his body to metal .  I jump back to rethink strategy. He gets up with a laugh " Man you are way more fun then those girls I was fighting ."  he spoke with arrogance. " I need one good chi charged punch in his temple ." I think to myself  .  We began to circle each other , he ran towards me first "Time this right ." I thought . When he got to me ,he threw a wild haymaker , this gave me the chance to evade to the side and swing around .I charged my punch and slam it into his temple . After a moment of standing with a blank look on his face , he fell down knocked out . I took a step back until I was sure he was really knocked out . I release a sigh "Good, no one was hurt ." I said out loud . "I wouldn't be so sure about that just yet ." I turned to see three female heroes facing me . "Who are you answer quickly ." the red head demanded  . I roll my eyes and begin to walk away , she ran in front of me and aimed some wrist device at me . "You are a very ungrateful individual , do you know that ?" I  then turn the other way to leave but am then surrounded  by the other two . One was a tall muscular green woman , the other one was covered in red clothes  holding her hands in a weird position. "I said " Who are you ?"  she demanded again . I stayed silent but looked at the red head with a glare , I begin to hear helicopter blades . I look around in a slight panic   " I don't have any flash bangs or smoke bombs .....FUCK!!" I think to myself , I notice the red head smiling sure of herself " I see that panic behind your eyes , you are trained to hide it aren't you , because you hide it very well . "  I was about to give up until I heard the mother of the child I just saved yell over to us . "Thank you ,thank you so much for saving my son ."  I used this as an opportunity , they were all distracted , I snuck away fast as I could  and used the buildings  as cover from the helicopter . I stopped at a small store and bought a  new jacket  and shirt . I changed and toss the others away including the bandanna . I then started on my way home , taking back streets . Once I arrived at my townhouse I let out a sigh of relief, I walk in and lay down on the bed "Next time , I am not leaving without the flashbangs ."
