It has been 1 year since hinata and kageyama confessed their feelings to each other and it also has been a week since the incident

~a week ago~

As hinata and kageyama where walking home after practice they went a d stopped by a shop to buy some meat buns

Lets go buy meatbuns! Said hinata with sparkles in his eyes

Okay okay said kageyama smilling a little as he saw hinata getting excited to buy some meatbuns

After they went and bought some meatbuns they were in their way back home again but it seems that they spent a little to much time in the store since it was already becoming more darker and darker

The two hurried to go home, as soon as they crossed the street a truck went and almost hitted hinata but unfortunately kageyama was the one that got hit because he pushed hinata away from the truck so hinata wont get hurt.

The driver of the truck went faster and left the two behind, the driver of the truck hitted and run

Kageyama was unconscious and bloody luckily somebody came by and called an ambulance
Hinata was terrified on what he had saw he saw kageyama laying on the streets bloody and mot waking up hinata was so scared that he couldn't move am inch

They went to the hospital as soon as they, kageyama was in a critical condition

The doctors told hinata to go home for now and the doctors will take care of it

Okay said hinata whilst wiping the tears in his eyes

~After a few weeks~

Hinata was so happy as he saw kageyama at the end of the street

Kageyamaaa! He shouted happily

Kageyama smilled and hugged hinata

Lets go to school now said hinata obviously so happy and excited that he was about to cry

As the two went to school they went by the shop they used to go to to buy meatbun

Hinata went and said that he'll treat them both meatbuns as they were there hinata said that he'll buy meatbuns for two

The cashier was obviously confused as she only saw hinata by himself but she still gave the boy meatbuns for two thinking that the other guy was outside

~As soon as they got to school~

Suga sannnnnn hinata shouted as he saw him at the distance

He went up to suga and asked him
Do you think kageyama will be able to play volleyball

Sugawara was suprised as what the boy said and he said softly
Hinata, kageyama is dead

Hinata couldn't believe what his senpai told to him he shouted No His Not Dead His Still Here With Me

He ran away from his senpai making his senpai feel sad a d guilty

On the other hand hinata was crying while running away he went to the bathroom and hid himself

He said kageyama dont listen to what any of them are saying they're just mean as he was still crying

Kageyama went to him amd hugged him
See your not dead said hinata i can feel your body right next to mine hinata exclaimed

After that hinata just ended up wanting not to go to school so he just went up home instead

Kageyama do want to go home?
I dont want to be here anymore right now hinata said

Kageyama nodded his head as a sign of approval

Lets stay in my house theres no one there today hinata said

As they went home hinata was tired from all the crying ealking and running so he went to sleep on his bed

Hinata dreamt about what happened to kageyama whe he got hitted by the truck when he was bloody and unconscious

Hinata screamed as he woke up in the middle of the day but when he woke up he saw no one with him kageyama was gone

Hinata went out of bed and ran to the streets he searched every corner until it was late in the afternoon and classes were dismissed

He saw the team walking on the streets he ran up to them and asked
Where is kageyama

The team froze and the atmosphere went dark real quick Tsukishima bluntly said hinata kageyama is dead

Hinata shouted no his not!

The team said hinata you need to get over this kageyama has been dead for one week now

If his dead then who was with me this morning who hugged me when i was crying who did i share my meatbuns with!? Hinata shouted

Yamaguchi kiyoko and yachi tried to calm hinata down a s hinata was crying tears of bullets

The team said hinata im sorry but you need to accept this truth

Hinata cried and agreed with the team. The team decided that they will sleep together with hinata because hinata might try to find kageyama again

As soon as they went home hinata collapsed at the floor as he was very tired

In his dreams he saw kageyama in the volleyball court and kageyama said lets play a game

Hinata agreed with the boy as kageyama setted the ball in front of hinata as they did always when playing

Kageyama said are you gonna be fine on your own

of course I am much better than you he said as tears flowed over his face

Kageyama i will miss you and without saying a word hinata woke up and cried

The next day

The next day was actually kageyamas funeral
Hinata was over there and he saw the body but the face was quite blurry
Hinata still wasn't ready to accept the death of kageyama but the team comforted him and at last he was able to see kageyama's face again

Without any second hinata burst into tears and said
i will miss you kageyama and i will always love you i am sorry that i wasnt the one that protected you because instead you protected me

As soon as the tears that fell on hinata's face dried the day was over.
