Back In Time (Christmas Story)

Another Day

Charlotte Pov:

Me and Mary just got done with Cheer practice now we headed to the library before lunch, we got to the library and pick up our history books when I turn around I see Henry and his friend reading their books in peace. I got Mary attention and I know she was thinking what I was thinking after we got our books we went to where they was sitting.

Charlotte: Hi
Henry(looking up) umm hey
Mary: should you two be at lunch
Caleb: yeah but how about you two
Mary: we is but we came to get our textbooks how about you join lunch with us
Caleb: I would love to....
Henry: but we can't make it sorry
Charlotte: come on come join us
Henry: why should we I mean you never talk to us plus you two are the most popular and prettiest girls in this school
Charlotte: look they can call me popular all day but it doesn't mean anything I'm still Charlotte Page
Mary: same goes for me we are really nice people if you get to know us
Caleb: can I speak to my home boy for a minute (turning to Henry)

Henry Pov:

Caleb: come on dude you know how much I like Mary
Henry: I know but I just don't trust them I mean what happens when they talked to us for a sec then dump us
Caleb: nobody said you have to trust them just give them a chance
Henry: (looking back at them especially Charlotte) fine
Caleb: yes (as he turn back to them)

God I hope they not gonna leave us in the dust,but the truth is I really like Charlotte but she has a boyfriend who teases me. Just give her a chance I said to myself.

Charlotte: so you ready to go to lunch with us
Henry: yeah come on

We made it to the lunch room and people start staring at us mainly Jack he was giving me a death stare, we went to a table and start talking I was kinda nervous but end up losing up a bit and when Charlotte smile my face lit up cause she had the prettiest smile. We were interrupted by Jack and his friends coming over a looking at us.

Jack: so you think you can just sit with my girl
Charlotte: Jack it nothing like that why you always got look at things on the negative side
Jack: cause this nerd got some nerves talking to you so you and your little friend need to keep moving on and stay away from my girl and her friend pushing Henry out his seat and having ths cafeteria laughing)

Charlotte Pov:

Charlotte: Omg (trying to pick Henry up but Jack grab her by the arm and drag her out the cafeteria) Jack what are you doing, get your hands off of me (as they got out in the hallway she pulled out his grip)
Jack: hey don't get mad at me he should know his place
Charlotte: and you think you helping by teasing him
Jack: and if he keeps coming on to you he's gonna wish he never meet me I mean what he got that I don't
Charlotte: a good personality, kind, and doesn't go around being an asshole like you.

And little did I know Jack slap me which made me let out tears a little he tried to touch me but I push it back I was so mad at him right now.

Charlotte: I hate you and not because of Henry but you slap me
Jack: I didn't mean too
Charlotte: oh you did you tried to think Henry's coming on to me but you got Abigail trying to get with you and you don't even see it. You know what we done
Jack: what you say
Charlotte:you heard me we are through don't call me, don't text me, don't talk to me, don't even come by my house.

I was mad at this point I could just choke him to sleep ugh I'm just gonna walk home I really don't feel like going back to class right now, my mom should be at work now so there's no worry. I got home and went to my room and lay down just thinking, my phone pop up and it was Mary texting me asking where am I to be honest I really don't want to talk right now I just went on to sleep hopefully that will clear my mind.
