"Can we watch something else, please?" Billie begged for the hundredth time in a whiny voice and I sighed, finally handing her annoying ass the remote. She dropped her baby act as soon as it was in her hands, and she scrolled happily through the different options of cartoons on Hulu. "Thanks, shorty."

I rolled my eyes, leaning back again. We were laying up in my bed; I was sitting up against the headboard and Billie laying in between my legs "for warmth," she claimed. Her face was pressed up against my thigh as she patiently clicked through the shows and I raked my hands through her silky hair.

As much as Billie tried to act like this hard person, she was a big-ass kid in reality and couldn't stand not being on me at all times. Not that I'm complaining though, I find it very cute how no matter what we're doing she finds a way to be close to me.

Like yesterday we were at Brea's house because she wanted to hang out again with just me, Billie, Stephen, Amir, and the other two niggas that be goofing around all the time I don't even remember the names.

yesterday afternoon..

"Damn, it feels like I ain't been over yo crib in a minute," Billie said as soon as we walked into Brea's house. Shit, I felt the same way, I've been so caught up with Billie I barely even be bothering Brea like that no more.

But it's all good, she be doing the same shit to me when she and Amir make up at the end of every week.

"Hey, bitch!" Brea called for me excitedly, removing me from Billie's grasp so I could hug her. I smiled as I hugged my best friend, considering I missed her a lot even though it had only been a short two weeks since she'd last been over.

"Hi love, I missed you," I dragged, rocking our hug back and forth. I love Brea. After we were all done catching up, everyone sat on the couch, putting on some music and talking about whatever.

"So what food we gon' get because I was told there was going to be some and that's why I'm here," the boy sitting next to Steph said, whose name I learned was Jayvion. He rubbed his hands together and everybody shook their heads, but it wasn't long before we all started to get hungry and throw out suggestions to eat.

"I'm so hungry, I could go for whatever, to be honest," Billie stated, looking over at me afterward. She always does that with me every time she says something that could be taken the wrong way if you know what I mean.

After we all decided on getting sushi, two of the boys left to go get it and the rest of us stayed at the house. Amir and Brea were cuddled up at the end of the couch, Jay was sitting next to them, and Billie and I were on the other side of him; everyone else was just around the house.

Brea was complaining about us not watching a movie so after a while, she finally got to pick a movie and we all got comfortable, paying attention to the movie. Though I felt an arm snake around my waist, and I turned to see Billie with a smirk on her face as she pulled my body close to hers. She messaged my hip in her hand, butterflies swarming my stomach at her touch. I leaned my head onto her shoulder, shifting a bit so my legs could rest over her lap.

She's cute when she acts right.

present time..

"Uh-huh," I responded, rolling my eyes when she clicked on 'The Lorax.' Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie but she makes me watch it every single time she comes over here for a long time and it's getting old, fast. "Do we have to watch this shit, again?"

"Um, yes? Type of question is that," Billie muttered, getting back comfortable on my thigh. I shook my head and focused my attention on the kid's movie, feeling happier that Billie was here to accompany me.

We were only like 30 minutes into the movie when I heard light snores below me and I cut my eyes down to see Billie fast asleep; eyelids closed, pink lips slightly parted as she took soft breaths, features relaxed as I watched and I couldn't help but pout at how cute she looked. I wish she was always like this.

But for some reason, she can't act right.
