" Cause when the villains fall,
the kingdoms never weep
No one lights a candle to remember
No, no one mourns at all
When they lay them down to sleep."

"So, don't tell me that I didn't have it right
Don't tell me that it wasn't black and white
After all you put me through
Don't say it wasn't true that you were
not the monster. That I knew."
Requiem

A GIRL WITH HAIR AS RED AS THE BLOOD STAINING HER LEDGER WAITED JUST OUTSIDE OF A LARGE, WHITE HOSPITAL.

She has no clue how she managed to go in the opposite direction of home. Annabelle was so close to it before, she could swore that she could nearly see the building with her own two eyes when she was in Brooklyn. But, as usual, HYDRA ruins her plans.

The girl never was very confident in her ability to navigate the world alone. Sure, she could fight. The serum running through her veins made completing tasks more easier and she could heal faster than even her papa at times.

That really cannot help Annabelle now as she walks along the crowded the outside of the hospital. All she wants to go is home but her home isn't really home for her. Home is back in Russia with her papa.

It truly was a comedy of errors when the girl managed to find her way to Pennsylvania. She had been tagged on her way towards the underground mono-rail which led straight towards New York. A female agent tried to grab her while they were alone in the large shuttle alone. Annabelle was quick to retaliate as soon as she realized her error.

Nothing was mentioned about the blood smears left in the elevator, the girl was too revolted to stay in the specific car after that. She switched to the neighboring one, still reeling from the impact of that gruesome fight that she had to endure and the sight of the woman's dying body seemed to be tattoo underneath her eyelids.

Still, she was rather shaken as she finally sat down in the neighboring car. A man beside her asked if Annabelle was okay. The girl nodded her head and clutched her ratty coat a bit tighter across her skinny figure. Her red hair was piled in a bun at the top of her head which seemed to look golden from the fluorescent lights above her.

The soft whish as the train sped by in the underground tunnel was oddly comforting. She knew that with each passing moment, and each flash of white light as the train continued on its trek, she was closer to seeing her family again.

Annabelle didn't notice the guards presence in the car towards her left at first. A couple of them were approaching the girl with a sense of nonchalance but she saw right through their ploy. Matching black jackets. Conceal-carried guns. They even seemed to have the same face shape and facial hair- at least the male operatives did.
