My mind is the prison of my being. When I step forward it binds me,
preventing the shaky step I manage forward.
Steps gone carried by the winds of time.
Frozen!
I stand locked in place,
my mind wielding the key. My Key
I gaze around a room of people who leap forward.
Whilst all I manage to do is sway.
Frozen.
Petrified a stature with a heart beat and a mind.
Paralyzed.
A runner with no distance just time. This is the prison of my mind.
Freeze!
They'll judge you! They'll speak of you! They know you.
Even though you've never truly spoken.
Freeze!
Tears as your voice cracks in front of them. Pushing away the panic in your voice!
Freeze!
Stay strong as their words tear holes in the walls you thought were so sturdy! Walls meant to build towers so you may rise to see another bright morning.
Wall that cave to the darkness you run from.
Freeze!
This is the prison of my being. Years of dreams gone with the gust of your harsh words.
Trapped, a statue with a heart beat and a mind.
Paralyzed with no key nor time.
This is the cage of my mind.
