Chapter 3: Realizations
I woke up with tear stained cheeks and my stomach was in knots. I pulled the blankets over my head and started sobbing. My mind was racing. Why? That was all I could think why was I thinking about him still? I shouldn't be after everything he'd done. Hours later I decided that I needed to start my day. I got out of bed and took a steaming shower. I was already feeling better. I put on my favorite PINK pullover and combat boots when the doorbell rang. I slowly made my way down the stairs and opened the door. Grayson was outside with his smile that could end world hunger. He was so beautiful. He was tall, had dark brown hair, ice blue eyes, a summer tan, and a blinding smile. "Hey Kate! I just wanted to come over and say hi!" This is what he did. He would come over just to make sure I was okay. "Morning Grayson. How are you?" "Pretty good! I was going to go on a walk around the park, would you like to come?" It was the middle of spring and starting to warm up outside. "Sure! Let me change really quick! Come inside and grab some water, I'll be back in a sec." I ran upstairs really excited and I didn't know why.
