"Where's Taehyung? He was in the bedroom when I went to take a shower." I asked Jungkook as I walked in the living room and saw him lying on the couch. "He went to the club in Gangnam-gu. Something urgent came up so he just stormed out of the house... And why are you all dressed up?" "I'm going out with a friend of mine." "Is he a guy?" "Yeah... why?" "I don't know, maybe I should warn Taehyung. I don't think he'd be glad to hear this." "He's just a friend Jungkook!" "Even I'm jealous... Taehyung would probably tie you to the chair so you can't leave." he chuckled teasingly. "That's why you won't tell him anything." I said sternly and left. "Damn Y/N, I didn't know your boyfriend lives in a whole-ass mansion!" Jimin gasped in surprise as I got inside his car. "Yeah..." I chuckled. "Are you ready to party? Because I know I am!" he said excitedly. "Just don't get too drunk... I don't want you to end up in hospital a week before your big performance." "I told you I have a high alcohol tolerance! Anything can put me in hospital but alcohol!" "You're crazy Jimin! Don't tell me you've already drunk something?!" "Of course not! "There's a difference between a police officer and a crime investigator you know?" I chuckled. "You all look the same to me!" "I didn't know we're going to Gangnam-gu!" I said surprised as Jimin parked the car. "All good clubs are located here so of course we are going! There's one my friend told me about, so we'll go there first!" "This is Taehyung's club." I thought to myself as we arrived in front of the building. "Is there something wrong Y/N? You seemed kind of lost for a moment?" Jimin asked. "It's nothing! Let's go inside!" I chuckled. After drinking a couple of drinks at the bar, Jimin dragged me to the dance floor so we could dance. "He went to the club in Gangnam-gu. Something urgent came up so he just stormed out of the house..." Jungkook's words echoed inside my head. "Maybe he's in his office?" I mumbled to myself and decided to go see him so I tapped Jimin's shoulder so he could notice me because he was too carried away with dancing. "Jimin, I have to go the bathroom! I'll be right back!" I said. "Want me to go with you?" he asked. "It's fine, I can manage on my own!" I reassured him and walked away. This place was familiar to me because Taehyung and I have been here before so I easily found a way to his office. "Is Taehyung inside?" I asked the man who was guarding the doors. "And who are you?" he scoffed. "I'm Y/N, his girlfriend." I said with an intimidating voice, making him gulp and open the door straight away. "Thank you." I said and walked inside. At first I saw two unfamiliar men standing opposite of Taehyung's desk but as my eyes finally found Taehyung sitting on his chair, a gasp left my mouth upon seeing a gun in his hand and Hyunwoo's dead body lying beneath him. Taehyung run up to me as soon as he saw me standing there in shock, wrapped his hands around my waist and turned me around so I don't have to look at the body. "You saw nothing baby." he looked me in the eyes as I shook my head as a no. "Good girl. Now come here and give daddy a kiss." he smiled as he cupped my chin and pressed his lips on mine. "Get rid of him. I don't want my princess to look at this disgusting piece of shit." he spoke as we broke the kiss. "He won't be bothering you anymore." "B-But w-why-" "He told me everything Y/N... "Are you gonna arrest me now?" he smirked. "Why did you hide all of this from me?" I asked. "You think you'd be as calm as you are now when we just started dating?" "No, but that's not convincing enough." "I know." he chuckled. "I wanted to protect you from my world, because it was too dangerous for you. I kept you hidden as much as I could but I guess it wasn't enough." he sighed. "What do you mean?" "Because Hyunwoo was interested in you, he bribed Donghyun, your ex colleague, to get him information about you. When he found out that you're a crime investigator, he saw it as an opportunity to use it against me and take over my place. He started spreading rumours about me dating a police officer and therefore willingly risking the exposure of us all which would result in the downfall of our business. Many didn't believe him but those who did were the ones who tried to kill you."
