Chapter 4

(Y/n)'s POV

Leon was putting on his vest, while I was waiting for him to finish up putting his vest on. After Leon was done putting his vest on, we started walking towards to the central area, but of course once we got there it was all like chaos went to hell. Half the street area was all destroyed with a lot of rumble, trucks destroyed, dead soldiers, and dead lickers. Leon was looking around at the dead soldiers til he saw the dead lickers on the ground, "We keep saying these things make bad pets." Leon said to me as a joke. I chuckle at this before telling him, "You got that right, these things make terrible pets and also we are not going to give our daughter those pets if she ever asked us." I said to Leon with a smile on my face.

Leon looked at me before giving me a kiss on my cheek before we started walking towards to a truck, once we got close to it, we heard a radio that was going off, "We are under attack by terrorists. We need reinforcements, now! We can't defend the palace much longer." We heard one of the soldiers yelled at the radio that he needs help. Me and Leon looked at it before we heard gunshots coming from the White House, we turned our heads at the White House and we started running towards to the White House, so we can get inside.

Once we got inside in the White House, we had to make sure that no one was in the rooms or anywhere else, I see a corner by the hallway, so I started to lean closed to the wall. Leon was next to me as well, we looked at each other before we nod our heads to each other before I move my head to look at the hallway to see two doors there. I looked at Leon before whispering to him, "There's two doors there, but we don't know if there is B.O.W.s or if any soldiers that are still alive." I whisper to Leon. Leon looked at me before whispering back at me, "Well if those are true, we should walk very slowly just in case." Leon said to me. I nod my head to him and we got out of our cover and we started walking very slow and careful as well.

Leon wanted to go first, so I let him go first and I was right behind him now. We had our guns out but we had to make sure that we don't do anything that could get us killed, we were walking a little slow, but we were only mid-point of the hallway because Leon stopped and I was confused at this because I started to looked at what Leon was looking at. We see a puddle of blood and we see something was dripping down, we heard a growl noise. We looked up to see two lickers were on the ceiling and they were crawling, but they stopped because they must've heard us because two of the lickers come down real fast.

Me and Leon had our guns pointed at them, they were walking towards to us, but we had to make sure that we don't make a noise at all, because they are blind but they have good hearing almost like a bat. Leon was making sure that I was behind him, I was behind him because two of the lickers were walking towards to us, but they didn't attack us yet. The licker looked back at us before opening his mouth and his tongue was swirling at us.

Me and Leon kept our guns pointed at the lickers, but luckily the licker that was having his tongue at us, was walking away from us. Leon looked at me before moving his head to let me know that we have to stay quiet and also that we need to keep going. I nod my head at Leon, before we could keep moving, we heard a noise behind us of those two lickers, me and Leon turned around quick, while pointing out guns at the lickers. The lickers looked like they were trying to hit each other or they were playing.

We ignored them, we were walking very slow but I noticed Leon stop and pointed his gun at the soldier that grabbed his leg, we looked at soldier before he could say anything the two lickers turned their attention to us, "Sorry, but we don't have time to stay and chat right now." Leon said to soldier. Me and Leon took off running as fast as we could get to the doors, we heard a gunshots and screaming from the soldier, but he was dead quick. Me and Leon kept running towards to the doors, but I turned around quick to see the licker was about to hit us, but I used my gun to shoot the licker and I think it was dead but I didn't stay to check up on the dead licker because the second was coming towards to us.
