Damian's Twin Sister

Chapter 4

Damian's POV
"I did too, my little princess. Now get some rest. I'll wake you up for dinner." I say to Jay as I kissed her forehead. A few seconds later, she falls asleep.

I look at my sister's face, she's grown. She looks just like mother, but better. Her dark brown hair grew, a lot. Her brown eyes, nothing like mine and fathers or like mothers. They're like grandfathers eyes. (author: lets pretend that Ra's has brown eyes, okay?)

I missed her so much. I wanted to see her again, but mother told me that she didn't want to see me, that she hated me for leaving her. I do regret leaving her alone at that place, but I guess, I'm just that kind of selfish brother. I wanted to live away from that place and away from mother. I shouldn't have left Jay there. But, she doesn't seem to hate me as much as I thought. Why? She should hate me, I left her all alone. I'm glad, though, that she doesn't seem to hate me as I thought she did.

I hear footsteps approach the bed and look up to see the idiotic kids my father adopted. They walked into the room and towards where me and Jay were laying. Grayson sat on the bed next to me while Brown, Gordon, and Cain sat on the other side of the bed, the side Jay's laying on. Todd stood by the doorway, leaning on the wall and Drake stood beside Grayson.

"What do you want?" I asked them in a, clearly, very annoyed voice.

Grayson spoke up for them. "We just wanted to see how our sister is doing." He said while looking at Jay's sleeping figure.

"She's MY sister." I spat at him.

"And you're our brother." Cain shrugged. I scowled at her.

"Whatever. Get out. She's sleeping." I said.

"Not anymore." We heard someone say. Turning all of my attention to the voice, I see that it's only my little sister.

Jay gets up and rubs her eyes a little and then look at all of us.

"You're all annoying." She said and I snickered. She turned her head towards me. "You too, Dame." She added and everyone in the room chuckled. I huffed and rolled my eyes and she stared at everyone stare at her.

"How long are we going to stare at each other?" Jay asked looking back at me. "Move." She said and I got off of the bed, allowing Jay to get off of the bed. She went to the bathroom and I turned back to the fools in my room.

"You've seen her, she's doing good, now out." I say pointing to the door that leads to the hallway.

"Oh come on! Let us talk to her and get to know her. We'll be living together for a few months anyway." Drake whined. I was about to protest when Jay came out of the bathroom and walked towards the bed. Heading towards the head of the bed, Jay sat down.

"Leave them, Dame. It's not like I'll  tell them anything about me. Maybe about you, but not me." She said as she tied her hair up.

"You will NOT tell them anything about me." I glared at Jay and she glare back.

"You can't stop me." She said and then turned to the girl trio opposite to her. "What do you want to know?" She asked them.

Drake went to sit next to Grayson while Todd pushed himself off the wall and sat next Jay. I huffed and brought the chair from my desk and sat down, across from Grayson.

"How old are you?" Brown asked. Jay looked at me and then back at Brown.

"I'm 15, will be 16 in a few months." She answered.

"So, you and Damian are twins?" Drake asked her and she nodded.

Grayson was going to say something when we heard a knock on the door.

"Come in, Pennyworth." I said and the door opened, revealing the old butler.

"Master Bruce asked for everyone to go to the dinning room. It is dinner time." He said and left the room.

Brown was the first one to get up and leave. Well, she jumped off the bed and ran out of the door with Grayson following. Cain and Gordon got up and went towards the door. Drake slowly stood up and headed out of my room. Todd was still sitting there. I raised my eyebrow and he just smiled. Jay got off of the bed and went towards the door. After she was out of the room, both, me and Todd got up and went out.

"She's cute." Is all Todd said before running to the dinning room. I ran after him and saw everyone sitting at the table. Todd took his seat next to Grayson and across from Jay. My seat is next to Jay's. I guess father told Jay to sit there.

As we started eating the lasagna that Pennyworth made, small conversations started arising from the others. I sat there eating in silence, not paying attention to anything until father spoke.

"So, Jayden, how have you been? I know that I never knew you or anything, but I still want to know how you were." Father said looking at Jay. His words seemed to catch the attention of the others because they stopped talking and looked at Jay.

"Eh." Jay shrugged her shoulders. Everyone snickered at her response. We barley talk to father like that so his shocked face was pretty hilarious.

"Okay then." Father said and turned back to his food. You could see that his ears were tinted pink from embarrassment.

"Well, I guess you know everything about us? You said Thalia gave you files about us, right?" Drake asked. Jay looked up at him with her fork in her mouth and nodded.

"Everything?" Grayson asked.

Jay took her fork out of her out of her mouth and stabbed it into the lasagna. "Yes, everything." She said and took another bite out of her lasagna.

"I'm sure there are some things that Thalia couldn't get. How about we play a game?" Brown said.

"What game?" Todd asked her as I took another bite out of my lasagna.

"Just to get to know Jayden and let her get to know us." Brown said as she took a sip of the water. "One of us asks a question and we just go around the table answering it." She explained.

"Why not? It would be fun and there are some things I'm really curious about Damian." Grayson said with a huge grin plastered on his face.

"Everyone else agree?" Brown asked and got nods and a mumbled "yes" from Todd and father. Brown looked over to me and Jay. "You two?" She asked.

"Sure." I said and stabbed my fork in the lasagna. Jay just nodded and took a sip of her water.

"You too, Alfred! Sit." Brown said.

"It's alright, miss. I'll just stand here and liste-" Alfred started, but couldn't finish due to the fact that Brown got up and dragged him to sit next to father. Pennyworth sighed and cooperated with her. Brown clapped her hands as she went to sit down in her seat. "I'll go first." She said and thought of what her first question should be.

"Why did we agree to this?" I asked Jay, realizing that Brown won't let us go the entire night. Jay just shrugged her shoulders and ate her food.
