NEONARA MUSIC FESTIVAL RETURNS TO THE CAPITAL REGION HATSUNE MIKU ARRIVES IN NEW YORK STATE
May 15, 2014 - Albany, NY - The NeoNara Music Festival is returning to the Capital Region for its second iteration, the weekend of August 15-17, 2014. The festival will be run once more by Papageno Productions and Sekirou Events.
"After last year's success, we are so glad to be hosting the festival again this year at Sperry Music Arena," Jennie Jones, Assistant Head of Operations at Papageno Productions, says. "The inaugural festival proved that you don't have to go to the city for great music. This year's going to be bigger and better, and we can't wait to show you all."
This year's lineup will include Hatsune Miku, a virtual singer from Japan who is well known on both sides of the world. The Vocaloid software can be used by any artist to create a virtual voice, which then sings along with their music. Yamaha and Crypton will both be promoting Hatsune Miku's performance at NeoNara, and staff and performers will be on hand. Miku's image will be projected during the concert as she sings and dances for the crowd. Also on deck to perform are the world famous Spinal Tap, east-coast rapper MYNX, and K-Pop girl group LvSeven.
Once more, the nearby Rensselaer Campgrounds will be used as lodging. A space can be reserved with tickets, as well as all-access and dining passes. New this year are autograph sessions with Photon Maiden and Walkure, two of the main acts. Tickets and packages are now available online at neonara.music.id.
