(Blaires POV)
It was 7:04 am and Blaire was approaching the barber's house, she always walked to school with jake but came early to eat breakfast at their house.
school started at 9:00 and it was only about 20 minutes was so they need to leave the house at 8;35 that gave them an hour and thirty minutes until they had to leave.
(not going to be 100% show accurate in this part sry)
I walked in and saw Andy coming down "hey bee, good morning jakey should be down in a minute"
"Morning andy," the girl said rummaging the fridge "do you have just an apple," she said popping her head out of the fridge to face andy.
"fresh out kiddo, but their bananas if you want," he said offering her the banana
"no thanks ill just wait until lunch to eat I'm sure the cafeteria food will be soooo delicious," she said sarcastically. Andy chuckled and handed her the banana anyway and said something about breakfast being the most important meal but her head quickly jerked as she heard loud footsteps coming down the stair. It was none other than Jacob Barber who walked right past the girl and straight to the fridge.
"um ok... rude. good morning to you too jakey poo" she said sarcastically to him
"good morning Blaire bear," he said matching her sarcastic tone
"you know I hate that nickname," she said slightly angry
"And you know I hate 'jakey poo' " he said in a high pitched tone mocking Blaire
They started to play fighting as Laurie walked in after coming from a morning jog. Jake and Bee were still play fighting as Laurie and Andy talked about her walk. Jake stopped and turned to his mom asking her to help him study for a vocabulary test that was coming up Blaire zoned out staring at the banana andy had previously given to her. When she finally snapped back into reality they were talking about a trip to Mexico.
"what do you think bee, would you want to come your the decision-maker if you say yes then its a yes" andy said excitingly
" well then I say yes, jake?" she said looking at the boy
"sure, yeah let's do it," he said smiling back at her
"ok its decided were going to Mexico for Christmas and new years," Laurie said turning to her computer
"shoot I left my computer at home, guess I'm gonna have to be late," Blaire said annoyed at herself
"here I was just heading out I cant stop by your house then drop you off at school" andy said smiling at the young girl
"really? I don't want to make you go out of you way andy" she said to him
"it a-ok but we have to leave now if we want to make it on time, jake wanna come?" he said going from looking at Blaire to his son
"it's ok ill just walk thanks though" he said as Andy and Blaire walked out the door and headed to her house.
