13. The battle

Caitlynn pov:
I saw the gaunlet and everything else was destroyed.
"Anyome copy?" Mr. Stark asked.
"Yes." a few people confirmed.
I reached out for it and grabbed it.
Thanos stood in front of me.
"Give that to me. Time for a do-over!"
"I don't think so!" Mr. Stark said.
Steven and Thor were fighting with mr. Stark against Thanos.
"Caitlynn help the others!" Steven yelled.
I did and I succeeded.

I looked at the battle field.
Mr. Stark was injured a lot and Steven was the last standing.
Thanos was about to kill Thor but Steven was able (for some reason) to use the Mjölnir and Thor grinned.
"Great."
After some time Steven stood in front of Thanos, and Thanos his whole army appeared.
I stood next to Steven and looked at him.
"We're in this together." I said.
He nodded and we both ran to Thanos, who kicked me aside and pushed Steven back.
He stood like a mile away.

Then I heared Sam.
"Cap. Do you copy? Look on your left."
I looked as well and there was one of those orange portals like Dr. Strange's.
I didn't dare to smile but gods I wanted to.
Everyone appeared and so did more portals.
But then one of these asteroids of Thanos came right at me.
I couldn't react to it but something swung the asteroid away.
"Holy cow! Caitlynn, you're not gonna believe this!" Peter said and he helped me up.
"Peter..."
"Remember when I got all dusty, I woke up and dr. Strange said come on. It's been five years, they need us."
Peter looked at me.
"What are you doing?"
And I just kissed him.
"I love you..." I muttered.
"I love you too." Peter said with a smile.
"You do?"
"Yes."
We rejoined the battle and mr. Stark hugged Peter once he saw him.

I killed like a thousand monsters of Thanos with my fire.
I threw the gaunlet at Black panter and he ran further. Until he got caught in the stone stuff.
"I got it!" Peter yelled as he grabbed the gaunlet.
And I just kept killing monsters.

Peter pov:
"I got it!" I yelled once I grabbed the gaunlet.
Then a lot of those monster came after me.
"Oh no..." I muttered.
I activated instant kill but there were too many.
"I got it. I got it. I don't got it. Somebody help!" I yelled.
"Hey queens, heads up." Cap said and he threw Thor's hamer at me.
I got hold of it thanks to my webs but then the space ship of Thanos started shooting.
I duck and held the gaunlet as good as I could, Inwas really terrified.

Suddenly the shooting stopped.
"What's going on?" Rocket asked."
"Look!" Caitlynn yelled.
Captain Marvel speeded through the space ship and landed in front of me.
"Hey... I'm Peter Parker." I said.
"Hello Peter Parker. Got something for me?"
I got up and gave her the gaunlet.
"I have no idea how you're going to get through all that." I said.
"Don't worry. She got help." A Wakanda woman said and all lady heroes appeared.
They all went on their way to the brown van of... dang it what was his name... Scott!
But she got stopped by Thanos.
"Peter, watch out!" Caitlynn yelled and more monsters surrounded me.
Caitlynn and I combined our powers and it was kinda awesome.
But Thanos had the gaunlet and Mr. Stark tried to get it back.
Thanos kicked him away and grinned.
"I am inevitable."
He snapped his fingers... but nothing happend.
Mr. Stark grinned.
The stones were on his hand.
"And I... am... Iron-man."
He snapped his fingers and all of Thanos army disappeared.
But instead of fighting, Thanos just sat down.
"What is he doing?" I asked.
"He knows that he lost." Caitlynn whispered.
Thanos also vanished and then I saw mr. Stark stumbling to a spot he could sit down.
Caitlynn and I ran to him.
"Mr. Stark? Can you hear us?" Caitlynn asked.
"Mr. Stark don't go. We won!" I said.
"It's Caitlynn and Peter. We won."
"You did it mr. Stark. You did it."
Mrs. Stark put a hand on both of our shoulders and nodded once.
The two of us stepped back and Mrs. Stark kneeled in front of Mr. Stark.
"Hey..." she said.
Mr. Stark looked at her weakly and Caitlynn and I were sobbing a little (a lot).
"Hey pep..."
"We gonna be okay... You can rest now..."
And the light of the Iron-man suit went out.
Pepper started crying too and all of us tried to comfort her, eventhough it was hard.
