its been two weeks since the news dropped, outer banks is back for a season two. its about eleven o'clock at night and rudy and kendall were about to leave to head to the airport, maddie and chase were already there and the rest of the crew flew out yesterday. the pair grabbed their bags, looked the door to their apartment, and headed for the elevator.
"okay so we have our boarding passes, online tickets, drivers licenses, and passports incase they need them, and our masks... is that everything?" kendall asked while looking up from her bag, rudy was staring at her in complete and total awe while zoned out.
"hey alaska boy, blondie!" kendall called out, snapping rudy back into reality.
"umm, yeah. thats good, has anyone told you that you look really hot in airport clothes?" he chuckled, kendall laughed and playfully hit him in the shoulder.
"stop it, pankow. did you talk to the landlord down in charleston?" kendall asked the blonde boy.
"yeah, everything good to go. all we gotta do is go up to front desk and they'll give us our keys when we give them our drivers licenses." rudy said, kendall nodded her head and the elevator doors opened. they hurried out to the parking lot and loaded up their bags into rudy's car, and headed for lax airport. they hurried through check-in, hand over the luggage that would go aircraft hold, pass through airport security, and headed over to their gate where they saw maddie and chase.
"kens!" maddie called out as soon as her eyes fell on her cousin, kendall chuckled and hugged her cousin, rudy and chase greeted each other. they act like they haven't seen each other in years when they hung out three days ago.
"flight aa 783 is now boarding, i repeat, flight aa 783 is now boarding." echoed throughout the airport over the intercom, the four young adults exchanged looks.
"well ladies, are we ready to go?" chase asked maddie and kendall, the girls nodded their heads and they headed over to the gate, the worker checked all of our boarding passes and we made our way onto the plane. jonas felt generous and gave us all some first class seats since our last few flights didnt treat them so well.
"m'lady." rudy said while moving out of the way, giving kendall a chance to get situated.
"why thank you." kendall said, mimicking his tone while plopping down into the window seat while rudy seat across from her since the seats faced each other. maddie and chase sat down in the row right next to rudy and kendall so they could talk if they wanted to, but kendall and maddie were planing on sleeping through most of the flight. they girls pulled out their blankets and their pillows and got settled. once the plane took off the knocked out, and so did the boys.
real life!
the plane had landed and the four headed over to their new apartments. they start filming season two tomorrow morning so they have to get situated quickly. rudy and kendall had already gone ahead and ordered furniture so when they got there everything had already been settled in. they opened the door and kendall ran to the couch and jumped onto it.
"the couch feels so good." she said but it was muffled by the couch cushions. rudy walked over and slapped her butt, kendalls head turned to his direction and shot him a look.
"hey, wow. i didnt mean it like that, i was going to ask you if you wanted to shower first." he said through a chuckle while holding his hands up in defense.
"oh my god, i love you so much. thank you." she said while kissing him, she hurried over to the bathroom and hopped in the shower. nothing feels better than a nice hot shower after a 12 hour flight. she got out wrapped herself in a towel and got dressed.
"pankow! im out of the shower, im gonna start unpacking our bags!" kendall called out, she heard shuffling and someone walking in behind her. rudy threw his arm around her shoulder as she said on their bed and kissed her neck, then her cheek.
"thanks cline." he said in a low voice that sent chills down kendall's spin, she nodded her head and turned to look at the boy, kissing him softly before he turned away and hopped in the shower. everything was now unpacked and ready to go, they even cleaned up the apartment and reviewed their scripts one last time. they got changed and headed to bed knowing they'd have to be on set bright and early tomorrow morning.
real life!
it was the next morning, the whole cast had to be on set today. madison and jd had to film this messy "were just friends" scene and more scene at the school. kendall and rudy had the most scenes today, they had to film this huge confrontation scene with drew about how rafe was sorry and how he's in love with jennifer and jj wasn't ever good enough for her. madelyn and chase had to film some scene on how they would have to come back to the island and how they had to get the gold. kendall and rudy had to film their huge "running away" scene today but madelyn and kendall would sneak around and hangout together on set.
"kens!" madelyn whisper shouted getting her cousins attention. kendall's head shot over in maddies direction and she snuck over to her cousin. they hung out together while chase was filming this whole little "contemplating life" scene.
