Enemy of the Kaiuni: Chapter 4

(as told by Radiance)

"HELLO!!!"

I super-jumped in shock and cracked the stone ceiling with my head. Now I know what my currents of today will go forward to repairing.

I glared at my visitor. "Great job, Krylon."

"Not my fault you're a Malacentwertle who's too easily startled." snarked Krylon with a smile.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, dude."

Krylon is six feet tall. He is an average Elandor completely, except his hair is the rarest hair color of all and it never grows. It is gold like Earth's sun. He is my age.

I think Krylon could be considered my friend. He comes over a lot, helps me figure out how to escape Eternal, helps me plan to Win against some unsuspecting Kaiuni or other Malacentwertle, and he does it all without any sense of "what's in it for me?" that's obvious. I suspect he wants to run off with me, because he has to room with others our age, and his roommates are some of the worst.

Krylon moved my laptop off my lap and kissed me on the lips. Elandorian kissing means the same as human kissing.

I broke contact with him.

"Krylon, I told you not to do that last time you were here!" I complained.

Krylon smiled. "But you liked it, just like you did the last time!"

"So?" I spluttered. Romance does not become one seeking universal domination.

Krylon said, "I know you're upset that you'll never be considered an adult by the rest of the Elandorians just because of your height. I know that while I have a completely normal Elandorian life set out for me, you are forced to live a Malacentwertle's life, and have no time to do anything ordinary, like fall in love."

"Who says I'm in love with you?" I demanded.

Krylon tickled me with my hair. "Oh, how long it would take to count the ways, Radiance! On another note, I shouldn't even be your friend."

"I have no friends." I insisted.

Krylon opened the silver locket around his neck. Folded up inside was a letter I'd written him a year ago. I knew the words well by heart:

"Dear Krylon,

No one accepts me on all of Eternal and in the entire universe, except you. You killed the ralliwag baring down at me in the caves and I refuse to say this aloud, but I do appreciate you being my only company on Eternal, and how you come over to my house most days. You are my friend.

Sincerely, Radiance."

I sighed. "You never fail to show me that so I can bite my tongue."

"Sometimes your tongue doesn't know what it's saying." scolded Krylon gently.

I kissed him so he'd shut up. We made out passionately like average teenagers, Elandorian or human, and him rubbing his hands all over my body felt really good. I played with his hair and mostly wrapped my tongue with his.

Krylon paused for a split second to tell me, "You're beautiful, you know that?"

"You just want me to marry you; even though I'm technically underage forever." I answered.

Krylon broke off the kissing. "No, I honestly like you for who you are. How can I make you believe me?"

I remembered the laptop suddenly. It was sitting at the end of my bed where Krylon had moved it. It waited for not me, but us. "Krylon, what do you know about Earth technology...?"
