~Something With You || A Miya Atsumu x Reader Story~

^Several days after the events of the date with Tsumu^

Another morning day at the gym, but not the same as before... The thirds years graduate since the season is over, which means it is now our turn to continue where they stop. Since Kita graduate together with Omimi and Aran, Atsumu became our captain. And as for me, I'm currently looking for new managers to replace me when I graduate. Many of them wanted to become a manager with the reason of "We get to serve the Miya's" or "I'm gonna be with Atsumu/Samu for the whole year". like seriously... I'm looking for my replacement to do the caring of the team(also so that they can experience the scolding of the coach Norimune). 

"Guys gather here for a second, Kita~san left me your training prescription as his parting gift for ya all" as I show them the papers that I printed out yesterday

"Does he say anything else before he left?" Gin asks

"Oh... He says good luck to everyone and stay strong, also he says that the twins need to do more activities than the others" I answer

The twins look at me with an annoying look on their faces. While the rest just chuckle

"That's unfair... Ya better tell Kita~san that we don't need more activities" Atsumu whines

"I think it is for the best, but it is kind of unfair to us both don't ya think?" Osamu adds

"Shut your mouth guys, I already rephrase these so that you can understand it easily. Heisuke, please hand this out to the others cause I need to go to class 2 for the interview for being a manager. See ya in 20 minutes and don't commit any dangerous act especially you Tsumu" I say heading out the gym

"See you later, (y/n)" They all say

I rush towards the building so that I cannot waste a minute in interviewing a freshmen and go back quickly since coach is in a meeting with the other clubs. Most clubs are also preparing for next year but we the Boys Volleyball Club cannot waste any spare second if we want to win every game. I meet the three freshman that wanted to be managers  and currently interviewing them.

"What are the basic qualities of a sport manager? Just give one or if you want two or so?" I ask to the three of them, while they look at me with very hopeful eyes.

"I think it is basic first aid treatment?" 

"It is probably taking care of their needs, like water and towel" 

"In my opinion I think it is the sense of communication and passion, but I think their answer is more accurate than mine"

I stare at them dumbfounded since when I was interviewed before my answer was 'The capability to interact with  them and to care of their basic needs during the game and such, also taking notes to make the defense and offense more effective and stronger'. that was an awkward moment for me since I was being interviewed by coach himself and being laughed at by potato tsumu and samu.

"All of your answers is way better than what I answered when I was in first year. anywho, for the last question this quite easy one to answer but you will be assessed based on this and the previous answers that you gave earlier. there is no need to sweat this out, just answer your heart out, got it?" I tell them and they nod meaning they are ready

"So the question is... what is the motive that you have when you decided to take the interview with me? Or what is the your expectation in this club?"

The three of them quickly think of an answer they can give to me that can qualify them to be my replacement. They took about one minute or so to finally answer it, I feel relieved that their answers is different from what the others answer in this part. I thank them for agreeing to have the interview first thing in the morning, also I bought them some apple juice as my thanks. 

As I came back to the gym just to witness a chaotic scene that came out from a movie. Atsumu and Osamu chasing each other while Suna takes a video with Gin, who is laughing. While Heisuke and the others are doing the prescription I gave to them. I get the whistle in the right pocket of my coat, which is very useful in times like this. thank you Coach Norimune and Kita~san for this helpful advice, I really owe you one. 

*Someplace in Hyogo*

Achoo~~~

"Someone is mentioning my name? is it Kamisama? well... Thank you Kamisama for the goods we have today" Say Kita while helping his grandma carry stuff

"Shinsuke, the Gods has been happy with you, keep up the good work." his grandma told him

*In a club meeting somewhere in Inarizaki High*

Achoo~~

"You better take care of yourself, coach Norimune. I heard the twins are a handful" the other club moderator says offering him a tissue

"Thank you for your concern, I'll make sure to take a medicine after this meeting" Coach says accepting the tissue that is offered to him

*back to the current situation*

I close my eyes and blow the whistle very loudly that I think they stop what they are doing. As I open my eyes, they all look at me with very scared faces. I step a few steps forward to face all of them including the so called "Captain".

"What in the world do you think you are all doing? Especially to the captain himself and his twin" As I glare my way to Atsumu and Osamu, who immediately looks away from me

"And you should be doing your training prescriptions. How can we improve if we slack ourselves huh. The "Captain" himself must know that, right? So why the freak are you slacking for?" I continue to scold them. God, this is exhausting...

They all just stand in silence as I heave out a sigh. I continue to scold them for another 5 minutes and let them do their training prescriptions. Coach also came back from the meeting and I talk to him about the possible qualifiers for being a manager. The morning practice ended in a flash and we went to our respective classes.

^timeskip after afterschool practice^

I was about to exit the gate when someone calls out my name. I turn around to see samu briskly walks towards my side with his bad on his side.

"Hey (y/n), do ya remember that I ask ya out, right?" He asks me while breathing heavily

"Yeah, I remember. So when are we going out?" I ask back to him

"I was hoping tomorrow if we can go out after class, since we've got no practice in Wednesdays" He says looking at me

I pull out my phone to see if I have any agenda after classes, which doesn't have any important agenda. I put my phone back to my pocket and look at him again

"Well... my calendar shows nothing but a blank space, meaning I'm free by that time. Also, do I need to change my clothes or something or we just gonna wear our uniforms?" I ask while taking a step forwards

"So it is decided then. See you tomorrow (y/n)" 

"See you too.." 

So tomorrow's agenda is a date with samu huh? I wonder how it will turn out.... Guess I gotta wait and see.
