"[y/n]!" Riko called out, dashing in the other direction.

"Excuse me..." I gave a small wave and smile towards the red hero before chasing Riko all the way back to the car. Katsuko trailing behind, probably with one of those stupid grins where you know their joking around but your still in serious danger.

I watched as Riko practically jumped through the car door and slammed it behind her, locking it from the inside.

"RIKO!" I pounded on the door and window, gently so I didn't break it. I growled under my breath. "Open this goddamn door!" I crossed my arms and looked across to see Katsuko giggling to herself. Beginning to get even more frustrated I huffed looking away from both Katsuko and the car itself.

"Calm down Rioter." The jingling of keys gained my interest, turning once more I saw that Katsuko was holding the car keys. I grinned, eagerly waiting for them to unlock the car and give me the opportunity to rip Riko's guts out- not literally! Just... yell and possibly hit them in the shoulder really hard.

"DON'T EAT ME!" Riko scurried into the back yelling as I immediately opened the door after the *blip* of the car unlocking.

"I wasn't going to-" I stopped, being interrupted by the maniac like laughter of Katsuko.

"E-eat you?! Like eat you out? Haha! Is that how all you gays talk?" The laughter continued as I registered everything. Then it hurt my brain so I stopped thinking about it and just climbed into the passengers seat and looked out the window quietly.

The drive back to my place was quiet, making it feel long and awkward. I decided it'd be a good idea to take off whatever Red Riot's shoulder things were and pass them to Riko so she could place them next to her in the back. My attention went back to the window, soon zoning out as the radio picked up; Present Mic's radio show.

wonder which hero he's featuring today...

"So! The manliest hero of our time! How are you feeling today?"

My eyes flickered to the radio for a split second, manly? Really? I sighed turning back to the window once again.

"Kinda upset actually, but nothing I can't handle!"

I recognised the optimistic voice, practically hearing his shark-toothed smile.

"Aw what?! Why is THE Red Riot upset?"
"At the con today, there was one person who dressed as me... but I think I embarrassed them and they kinda ran away.."

My heart sank, Red Riot was an open book right now; he sounded upset that he might have done something wrong when in reality it's nothing he did! It was just me over-reacting because Riko told us to just 'date already' and I actually like him-

wait... i did NOT just think that

I lifted my head off my hands and turned my head to stare out the windscreen. A few familiar streets came into view and I knew that I had 15 minutes to talk myself out of having a crush on a hero I've only met in person like twice. I rubbed my eyes and sighed heavily, which unfortunately for me caught the attention of Katsuko.

"what are you overthinking this time?"

They didn't even have to look at me to know what was going on. I groaned and decided it was best to just tell the truth.

"I may really like the colour red..." I dumbly stated.

Silence took over the car once again, my friends may be dumbasses but they're not THAT stupid. We made it back to the house Riko and I share, I jumped out of the car still uneasy since they haven't said anything about my dumb statement.

"Katsuko is dropping me off to my cousins house so I'll see you sometime next week!" Riko called out from  the open window. I nodded and looked at Katsuko, who had a quizzical look on their face.

"Katsuko-"

"Oh my gOD! YOU MEANT YOU LIKED RED RIOT NOT THE COLOUR RED!" Katsuko snapped their head to me as they yelled, finally understanding what I'm still learning. I took that as my cue to slam the door shut and make a b-line to the door. I fiddled with the keys in a rush to unlock the door, and bursting in and immediately shutting the door behind me. I sighed as I slid to sit on the floor.

Lowkey wanting to pass out then and there but alas, I pulled myself off the ground and moved into my bedroom. Flopping onto the soft covers and pillows of my bed. I groaned as my back screamed in pain- I should really sit up straight more so I don't have chronic back pain at such a young age. I rolled over and checked my phone that I didn't grab this morning; already spammed in messages about Red Riot on Friday, today, and on the radio.

Having enough for the day I placed my phone back down and stared at the ceiling. Having absolutely no clue what I was going to do for the rest of the afternoon. After sitting there for like an hour, I decided to head to the cafe down town that opened a few days ago. But first, I am changing out of this. I kept the turtle neck on but changed into a pair of jeans and just put on the sneakers again. I took off the muzzle? Mask? Thing and fixed up my hair.

Once I looked satisfactory I grabbed a bag and shoved my purse/wallet, sketchbook and pencil case into it. I double checked to make sure I had everythi8ng, including the keys to the house, and headed out. It took about 10 minutes to walk there but I didn't mind, it was a sunny day with a nice breeze coming through; perfect walking weather.

I made it to the cafe and it wasn't to busy, I was guided to a seat next to the window- it's own small rounded table large enough for a coffee and a plated snack. I ordered what I would normally get at coffee shops and pulled out my sketchbook. My original drawing plan was to create little characters based off interesting people in the shop but I felt myself drawing anatomy- well built frame, male figure, a kind face... before I knew it an entire page of anatomy work had turned into a whole page of Red Riot.

I sighed and looked up, seeing one of the employees setting down my order. I gave a polite smile and thanks before going with what I have and pulling out a red pencil. Taking a quick sip of my drink, I set myself to small amounts of work. Colouring his hair red for all the sketches and shading in the red of his eyes. I put the sketchbook on the table for a moment as I took a bite of the complimentary dessert. I exchanged my red pencil for a black fine lining pen, I chose on of the nicer and larger sketches to detail and leave the rest as neat scribbles with colour.

~

A few more finishing highlights with the white pencil and... done! I sighed to myself in relief, placing the sketchbook on the now clear table. Not like I've been working on one sketch for the past 25 minutes. I pulled out my phone and texted Katsuko, only now realising we left before Deku could sign their notebook. Busying myself into making sure they were 100% okay with it not being signed until next time. I guess I didn't notice the two people walk by me because when I looked up to grab my sketchbook off the table it wasn't there, rather it was in a dude with spikey blonde hair stuffed in a hat and sunglasses hand.

"Hey..." I said embarrassed, yes my drawing pad was open on the table that doesn't mean you can pick it up and take a look.

"These are really good... Hey Dumb Hair! Look at this." I watched as the blonde male passed my book onto what assumed was his friend. Who had Red combed down spikey hair, red eyes, and shark toothed smile. I realised immediately that Dynamite and Red Riot were casually outing and I watched in slight horror as Dynamite showed Red Riot the sketch that my book was open to.

"Wow! whoever drew these must be super talented! But Bakugou? Who does this belong to..?" His eyes drifted to me, my pencil in hand and a few more shades of red on the table. I blankly stared at him as he put two and two together. Then I was further realising that Dynamite's real name was Bakugou.

"Kirishima? What are you and Bakugou just standing around for?" A girls voice spoke from the table they were walking to. My eyes darted in the direction of the girl, who had pink skin. Immediately it clicked that she was pro hero Pinky, and if Dynamite was Bakugou then that means that Red Riot is...

"Kirishima!"
