➠ Turning 19 Update + Digital Art

HOW ARE YOU, BITCHESSSSSS?

Yo, holy shit, I missed being active here. So many things happened to me, which I'm sure is the same with you all, and I'll do a little rundown on what changed in your midget pal's life as if you guys care.

- i turned nineteen

The title definitely did not give it away, nope. So yes, I'm now a fully-fledged young adult who needs to worry about her future and responsibilities in a much intense frequency, as if that's not already a norm for me. I graduated senior high school as well (with honors, whoo!) and should be in college right now studying Multimedia Arts. Unfortunately, as you all know, COVID happened so I decided to take a break from school because I don't think I can handle so much stress in one go.

- why i became inactive

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this on my message board already and I still stand by what I said; I didn't enroll in a school this year for no reason. Apart from that, I'm more aware of the fact that rather than focusing on non commercial works, I should be looking for profitable commissioned projects since I don't want to waste the precious time I have at the moment. I do love designing for my requesters here but frankly speaking, I really need to make some bucks, especially in this situation.

- what i've been up to

With that being said, your girl decided to expand her horizons and started to learn digital art. I got a Wacom tablet last October (for my birthday) and I absolutely treasure it, I cannot put it down smdh. The first few weeks of drawing are freaking painful and I felt like a total loser, but then I didn't stop and now I'm making progress! Still have a long way too go obviously but knowing the fact that I only started drawing two months ago make me happy.

Furthermore, because I love learning new things, I'm currently taking Japanese lessons. I probably need a decade-worth of studying because, I kid you not, it's bloody hard. Being bilingual is a feat itself but why not turn that into multilingual, yeah?

- what will happen to my account

I'm not sure if anyone noticed but I did delete some of my books, mainly because I lost interest in them; on the other hand, I kept the remaining ones up since some like reading them? I don't know. I have the urge to write but not the will, lmao.

As for this graphic book, I'm so excited to share with you guys both my art and designs so you can see my improvements! I never thought I'd be into drawing but then again I didn't anticipate delving into the world of anime, too. Shocker.

I M P R O V E M E N T

My first drawing, I did this back in October 3.

My two recent works for my original character. Still have a long way to go, but I'm glad to see some improvement! Patting myself on the back lol. (Also please don't steal.)

C O N C L U S I O N

I don't think I'll ever want to fully leave the Wattpad world because there are so many memories here that I wanted to keep, and people that I wanna keep supporting albeit silently. But the reality is, people grow, and I need to step up and be mature with my decisions.

I hope you will still support me in my future endeavors, your love means so much in motivating me.
