"I feel like I know you already." I replied,
The only other thing I remember, is looking deep into your eyes,
Those black eyes that shone like agates, I could talk about them for hours,
They say the greatest films of all time were never made, but the exception is ours.
"Define paradise." They asked me, and of course I thought of you,
"This morning, with her, drinking coffee." I explained, as that was the only paradise I knew,
We spent our whole lives together, until death inevitably intervened,
It's a shame all of this money can't buy me a time machine.
"I can't fall in love with this man, but it's just like a ring of fire." You said, and we made it into a song,
Who knew singing it without you would feel so wrong?
I survived only four months without you, but I don't know how,
We were one of the greatest loves of all time, but we're over now.
