I Question My Sanity

Let me say, the last time Dani actually lied about their feelings and to never come forward was... a while ago. Unfortunately, today they would break that streak. 

They sighed as they sat down, rubbing their forehead in frustration.

"Ughhhhhhhh..." They closed their eyes until they heard footsteps coming toward them, it was most likely Liam or El, considering the two adored the younger. (NOT BY MUCH BITCH-) They just closed their eyes again and sighed.

This odd action caught Liam and El's attention, I mean, the two could almost instantly tell when something was off. Pansy could as well but she wasn't present at the moment. Probably getting groceries or something- Maybe napping-?(I can't think for shit, leave me be-)

"Babe, you okay?" Liam asked them softly, walking over to them with a raised eyebrow.

"Hm? Oh, 'm fine, just tired that's all!" They bluntly stated, quite obviously lying. Well, obvious to their partners, not so much to others.

"Are you really fine?" El questioned, popping into the conversation. It was normal for them to join in random conversations, especially when they were intrigued by something Dani would say or just their surroundings.

"I swear- I'm fine." Dani stated bluntly. They were tired and didn't want to be questioned, although they were lying about how they were feeling. To them, that didn't matter right now, or ever.

"Mm, sure." Liam just walked away, not in the mood to make Dani listen. El however, was not having it-

"Just talk to us, we're here for you, you know this and I tell you constantly but whatever-" They spoke with a tone that meant "stop fucking around and talk to me". Dani wasn't going to open up, at least, for the moment.

"Mm, no. I'm not talking. Besides, nothing's wrong, I'm fine!!" Dani gripped their fists and dug into their skin with their nails. Instinct. El moved their gaze towards Dani's eyes. Light brown with tears... wait- TEARS?!

"Holy shit- Dani, you're crying!" El, on instinct, immediately got up and hugged Dani, tightly.

"I- I am..?" Dani didn't even notice they were crying, which concerned them. "Maybe they're happy tears..?"They questioned, uncertain. 

"They aren't happy tears, are they?" El knew the answer was no but they wanted to hear it from Dani.

"They are happy tears! Why would I be sad?" Dani giggled nervously, something they did when they were upset(True, I do that irl and it's kinda concerning-)

"Why wouldn't you be sad?" El answered their question with a question, something Dani saw as a "Just-fucking-talk-im-done-with-bullshit" sign.

They sighed and clung to El, rather tightly and mumbled something, crying.

"Dear, just talk, please." El basically begged Dani, holding them with a slight hint of protection.

Dani sighed but nodded, just letting El have their way. 

"Fine...-" They mumbled an apology that El quickly hushed. "-Uhm.. I've just been upset lately, I dunno why... I can't explain my jealousy... or my sudden anger recently... I'm sorry.." They finished with a quiet sob, clinging onto El's shoulder.

El hushed them and kissed their forehead. "Don't be sorry dear, emotions aren't something you can really control." Dani looked up at them with a raised eyebrow,

"What do you mean..? I can control my emotions..!" El smiled softly and chuckled

"You can't really control them, dear. You can't control your brain and your feelings. It's impossible. Unless you bottle but that's bad for you so don't even think about it!" The end sentence made Dani giggle.

"I won'ttttttt-" Just as Dani finished their sentence, Pansy came downstairs with a tired look.

"Mon amourrrrr!" Dani struggled to get out of El's lap but somehow managed and ran over to Pansy, hugging her, almost knocking the poor girl over- (I'm tiny, leave me be-)

Pansy giggled lightly and hugged them back. "Hello mon ange." Pansy spoke with a tired mumble. Dani noticed the tired tone and spoke up,

"Why do ya seem tired babes?" They questioned, tilting their head slightly.

"I just woke up from a nap- that's all-" Pansy spoke with a mumble. 

The four of them, Dani, Liam, El and Pansy, all lived in a house together. Although the three loved Dani romantically, not each other, they still agreed to live in the same house(Keep in mind, in this we're all much older- Not like super old but like- Old enough to live on our own -w-") just as long as Dani was happy. 

El saw Pansy and waved, greeting the girl. El was typically friendly with Dani's loved ones, unless they were annoyed with one of them. Liam was usually the same way, except for around El but that was usual for him. Pansy was overall just kind to everyone-

"Hnnnghhhhhhhh-" Dani whined, walking over to the kitchen and grabbing an apple.

"Hm?" El questioned from the couch, on which they were most likely watching "The Mandalorian".

"Oh- nothing! I'm just hungry-" Dani spoke from the kitchen, plopping down next to El on the couch, taking another bite of their apple.

"Ah, okay-" El continued to watch their show. Pansy walked over to the two and put their head on top of Dani's. 

"Whatcha doing?" The girl questioned light-heartedly.

"Just snacking on an apple and watching The Mandalorian. Why?"

"No reasonnnnnn-" and with that, Pansy walked back up the stairs to go start her college work which was awaiting her upstairs-

AHHHHHH- I loved writing this, so muchhhhh- Oh, LiLi ended up napping because I really didn't have anything for him to do- Sorry LiLi -w-" ANYGAY- I hope you enjoyed reading the fantasies that happen in my little brain uwu
