My last show was yesterday night, and since then I've been traveling to get back home. I cannot tell you how good it will feel to sleep in my bed, in my house, and finally not be exhausted every night.
My routine will get better, and my voice will get a chance to heal.
We got off the tour bus way too early this morning to get on the airplane. There were about a thousand suitcases and equipment traveling with us. Most of it we were shipping back home.
Many hours of traveling later, I was home. The hours on the plane felt like days. I kept falling asleep and waking up.
I was happy to be alone, in my own space.
I didn't know how to start things with Natalie when we are so far from each other.
So me being the dumbass I am decided to book a flight to see her.
Yes, I just got home but I don't care. Seeing Natalie again will feel like home anyway. After I told her, I felt kind of weird to see her with Brenden again. Especially alone with him.
Does she not feel the same way? Or does she have feelings for him? Natalie claims she doesn't but as of right now I'm not sure if I believe that yet.
My flight is first thing tomorrow, and I could not be more excited and nervous.
"I'm sorry I had to end the call so soon."
"It's alright. Call again tonight?"
"Can't wait :)"
My heart was full of anticipation.
After I finished making and eating dinner, I called her.
She sat in the dark with fairy lights lighting the room. Her sweatshirt hood was up and she had a huge smile on her face.
"Can I play a song for you?"
"Yes! Oh my god! I'm so excited."
She said keeping all her attention on me.
"Okay."
I laughed nervously.
As I played my guitar and sang I could feel her eyes on me.
Even though we were just facetiming I felt the connection between us, and the force that may or may not bond us together.
As I finished she clapped and her smile reminded me of her beauty.
"Natalie."
"What?"
"You're beautiful."
She smiled and looked down.
"I am not."
How could she not see that?
"You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, Natalie. I mean that."
"Oookay. If you say so."
She rolled her eyes at me but added another smile.
I am obsessed with her smile. God, It's such a simple movement but it really does so much for me. It makes my day feel better.
"I guess I'll see you soon."
I said.
"I can't believe I'm going to see your face in person again."
"Me too."
We said goodnight and once the call was over I pulled my blanket up to my neck and laid down.
Tomorrow.
Me and her.
Natalie and Robin, finally have a chance at falling in love.
