Y/n Pov

One year ago

My eyes darted around the room looking for this week's new monster. They had suddenly stopped when landing upon a man dressed in a fancy black suit. He's standing next to a taller man in a different colored suit. They were talking in hushed voices as they also looked around. Their conversation had stopped when he saw me and a small smile appeared on his face.

Slowly but surely he made his way over to me where I stood at the minibar. "Hi, I'm Dean." He introduced.

"Y/n." I smiled while shaking his hand.

One year later (the present)

The black tight dress fit my body perfectly as I stared at myself in the mirror. Tonight Dean and I made plans at some small but elegant restaurant. He's on his way over to pick me up right now as I finish getting ready. We've been seeing each other off and on for over the past year, not dating, just friends with benefits type of thing. We'd go out on these nice dates before ending the night in a hotel room or the back seat of his car.

We both agreed we're not ready for any type of serious relationship so we kept things strictly pleasure. A few weeks after we started seeing each other we made each other agree to not catch feelings under any circumstances. If one of us breaks that promise then we're simply going to stop seeing each other. I was okay with that until a few months ago I caught feelings, hard.

I broke the promise and fell in love with Dean. I'm not going to tell him that because I want to keep seeing him but part of me is afraid of the outcome. If he finds out then he'll be pissed and never want to see me again. That thought alone breaks my heart. Sighing I pushed that to the back of my mind as I stared at myself in the mirror.

I'm wearing a tight black dress matched with some black high heels. My hair is also freshly straightened as it falls down past my shoulders. He always told me that he loves when my hair is straight. Once appreciating my appearance I heard a soft knock at my front door and smiled. He's here.

The moment I opened it he stood there looking me up and down with a smirk. "You look stunning as always," he complimented.

"And you look handsome in that suit as always," I replied making him grin at me. He reached his arm out for me and I happily laced mine with his before we left. About ten minutes later we arrived at the restaurant and let the waitress show us to our table. She took our drink orders before leaving to let us look over the menu.

"So how did that hunt go last week with Sam?" I asked him.

"Good, we got a few scratches but other than that the people of that town are safe."

"That's good to hear." I smiled. Soon after getting our food we ate and talked a bit. We actually haven't seen each other in the last two weeks because of how busy we both were from the hunting. But now we're happy to be out together on this date. Time passed and we barely noticed until it came time for us to leave.

Dean got us a hotel room at one of the hotels we've been to before. He got it for the night so we could spend it together as usual. My anxiety started to rise on the way there, thinking about how I've grown feelings for him. It's definitely going to get in the way of us continuing this whole thing. There wasn't enough time for me to think because before I knew it we were heading inside.

He got our room key before leading me to the elevator. I'm gonna have to tell him tonight otherwise things will get worse. I'm sure if the roles were reversed he would tell me. Once the doors closed he wrapped his arms around my waist and shoved me against the wall. This action caught me off guard as he placed his lips onto mine in a hungry kiss.

I hesitated at first but eventually caved and kissed him back. His hands roamed my body as he held me in a rough kiss. The doors then opened and he pulled away immediately, smirking at me. He held my hand tightly in his as we went to our room. Before anything else can happen I'm going to tell him. Unfortunately, he isn't giving me much of a chance when he closed the door behind us and pulled me into his chest.

"It feels like I haven't had you to myself in forever. Tonight is going to be special for both of us." He whispered then kissed me but this time it was passionate. When kissing him back he let his hands fall underneath my shirt. His lips made their way down to my neck causing me to move my head, giving him more access.

My brain felt fogged, but my feelings for him grew at that moment. I pulled away quickly and pushed him away from me. He gave me a look of confusion seeing that I'm trying to catch my breath. "Dean I'm sorry but we can't do this anymore."

"Why not?" He asked confused. My heart sank realizing I'm never going to see him again after telling him this. What have I gotten myself into? I'm losing a man that I love because of some stupid promise. We're not in middle school anymore we're grown adults. And I think if we both love each other then that's okay.

"I broke my promise," my eyes watered. "I fell in love with you even after saying I wouldn't. I'm sorry."

He only stared at me in complete shock, not knowing what to say. He clearly doesn't feel the same way and I'm an idiot. Once collecting myself I let out a sigh. "I should go," but before I could touch the doorknob he grabbed my waist tightly and pulled me into his chest. This confused me as he held me close to him.

"No y/n, don't leave. Truth is I broke my promise too because the day I met you I fell in love. Every day only got worse because my feelings for you only got stronger." He cupped my cheek in his hand and smiled softly. "I love you y/n." He breathed.

"I love you too, Dean." I smiled. He pulled me into a loving kiss that I happily returned as his grip on me tightened. This night didn't go as planned but I'm happy nonetheless.
