"What do you think about love?"

Nacht suddenly asked that question to Akira

Akira was surprised abit

Seeing that expression nacht said "it's okay you don't have to answer"

"No I would love to tell you about what I think about love" he said smiling

Nacht looked at him

"I think love is the most beautiful but saddest thing ever. why love is the most saddest thing ever? Because there are people who get heartbroken from it and there are people who are happily in love but the sufferings they have to go trough because their parents won't allow it or there are people who lost everything important to them and they only thing they haven't lost is theirs lovers arms hoping that they never lose them"said akira

Nacht was quite shocked at the answer. He never thought about love that way

"What about loving the same gender?" Nacht asked

"We all die. The goal isnt to live forever. We all have a limited amount of time, we never know what will happen tomorrow. thats why I think that love is genderless,you can love the same gender as you like a woman can love a woman and a man can love another man."

"It is your life, you can't let anybody order you around.you can live however you want.It isn't wrong to love the same gender as you" Akira said with a bright smile as the dawn ended and the golden sunlight hit his face

Nacht looked at him with sparkling eyes almost crying. He was shocked at his answer.

Nacht pov

'you are light, light that shines in darkness.the light of hope'

Nacht thought

"Nacht,let's go back to the base.we have been talking the whole night we have to sleep atleat 5 hours,besides I hate the sunlight haha.lets go back!" He said holding nachts hand

'his hands are warm'

with slight blush on his cheeks

You both were walking out of the forest, still holding hands

You both arrive at the base

"Then,nacht get enough sleep to work today"

"I-I will" nacht replied looking at their hands

Akira saw it and let go of his hand"Then,bye!"
He said going inside the base

Nacht was looking at his figure slowly disappearing while blushing

'why do I feel lonely suddenly?'

He thought as he start to walk into his room laying on the bed

Nacht went to sleep with a smile on his face after remembering the time he spent with akira

It's been 3 months since that day.the two young males go to the forest everyday at night and talk about random things and during the day they do their magic knight work. Akira has started to get along with other squad members well.

3rd person pov
Our captain Julius invited all of us to a banquet. He did not tell us what it was about,when we got to the venue there were other squads too.

Everyone was talking to eachother getting along,then suddenly the wizard king appeared.

He said "ladies and gentlemen,I know you don't know what you're here for but today is a very special day." The wizard king said

Everyone was confused.then the captain of grey deer appeared beside the wizard king

"Everyone,everyday my health is getting worse and worse and thus I can't compete my duties as the wizard king anymore"the wizard king said

Everyone was shocked hearing that.tgey everybody thought

'then who will be the wizard king?'

Then everyone looked at the male standing besides the wizard king.julius novachrono.he was smiling there nervously hoping to get their approval.

Their eyes were widened after realizing what was going on

"Julius novachrono.the most promising person to be the wizards king,I officially stand down my title as the wizard king and give the title to this young man!"
The wizard king said while giving his robe to julius

Everyone was dead shocked. Then suddenly everyone started clapping and cheering because they knew that julius is fit to be the wizard king .

Timeskip 1 week

It's been 1 week since julius became the wizard king and akira,William and yami were told to come to the wizard kings working room

Akira's pov

I was suddenly told to go to the wizard kings working room.when I arrived at the door I saw William and yami senpai standing near the door.

"Eh you were also called mysterious boy?" Yami said

I nodded in response

"I know that julius-sama called us for a good reason" William said

Suddenly the door opened revealing the wizard king aka julius

"Everyone come inside" julius said with a smile

"I called all of you here for somethong important, There will be lot of dangers to the clover kingdom after the former wizard king resigned. for the safety of the citizens and the clover kingdom I am making 3 new magic knight squad"the wizard king said

All of us were shook

"You already know why all you are here then,am I right?" He asked

All of us replied "yes"

"I want all of you to become the captains of each squad".
