CORINNE HAD FIGURED OUT how to work from home when the pandemic first closed everything. She had begun selling products so people could properly remove the individual lashes without damaging their natural eyelashes or eyes. Corinne couldn't physically practice her craft so she began selling pre-made luxury lashes, along with the option for custom lash strips.
It took weeks for her to get comfortable but when she did, she was hosting private make-up classes per her followers' request. She required each person to come to the class with a negative Covid-19 test along with a model that met the same requirement.
Only two people were taught in the same class because that was the best way to maintain safety in her salon suite. Corinne charged each person five hundred dollars so she was making 1,000 dollars a class. Corinne would instruct four classes a day and she did this six days a week.
Her makeup classes alone made her 24k a week while her products made her the remaining 6k. Everyone was trying to learn how to provide their own services. She got active on social media when it came to promoting her business and herself that her followers and engagement rose.
The other 5k came from promos. People were paying for page and product shoutouts because they wanted clout. Businesses wanted her to model for them to the point where she was making nearly 1k a post. It wasn't near as much as the real celebrities were getting paid but it was the start of something.
