it was pouring heavily, everyone rushing out while our man smiles to himself.
saying he's lost it would be an understatement. "its too cold" he mummers to himself. walking past everyone, in a drunken state... his feet has just given up on him.
so did his body after a few flying moments. he lays flat on the bench outside the bar, where couples usually sat down hand in hand; he was laying there. all alone. no hand to spare.

completely defeating the purpose of you hanging near the comic store - which was to reach home dry. you arrive, but soaking. with a large man half sleeping on you.
just as you were taking off his shoes and drying him up he starts mumbling to him self.
