The boy in the window

Kenya's pov

Everyday when I'm walking home, there's this boy I see he stares out of his window a lot, I've never really paid attention to him, until yesterday. Yesterday when I was walking home he wasn't looking through the window, all I could see was an empty room, I had stopped to get a closer look when he came back in the room and saw me staring. He just smiled and waved at me before grabbing something and walking back out, yesterday he had smiled at me, his smile was kinda cute, the way his eyes lit up as if when we locked eyes he had declared us as friends, and the way he looked like he was about to burst into laughter, it was...adorable

Story like pov:
"Class today we have a new student"

Kenya shaped away from his daze and lookedas  up at the front of the room where he saw his home room teacher mr. sawada speaking

"His name is Satoru fujinuma"

Kenya lifted and eyebrow 'Satoru..?'

Mr. sawada looked towards the doorway and smiled warmly he waved his hand as if he was saying 'come on in' a little boy walked in and much to Kenya's suprise, it was the boy in the window

Kenya's head immediately perked up in shock

Satoru seemed to notice this, he looked at Kenya and smiled agian

"Satoru you can go sit next to Kenya"  mr. sawada pointed to the empty seat next to Kenya

Satoru nodded and made his way over sitting down and putting his bag on his chair

When it was lunchtime Kenya decided this would be a good time to introduce himself he looked over to the small boy took a deep breath and said

"I'm Kenya kobayashi, it's nice to meet you"

Satoru froze for a second before nervously sputtering out a "I-it's a pleasure to meet you t-too"

Kenya looked at him "you don't talk much do you?"

"No..."

"That makes sense, your always pretty lonley"

"A-and how do you know that!"

"I pass by your house everyday, everytime I see you, your looking out the window watching the trees. Plus you never bothered to say hi until yesterday when you caught me staring"

"Oh..."

"Your names Satoru right?"

"Mhm, Satoru fujinuma"

"Well Satoru, I think your smile is pretty cute"
