Banishing Ben

Y/n's POV

I woke up from having a weird dream. I've been having them ever since I got here. There were people with white coats and there was a girl and....Thomas. So the guy in my dreams was Thomas the whole time. Me and Ben took a day off today while Minho took other runners with him. I was helping Newt with his job, even Thomas helped.

"Did anyone try climbing to the top"Thomas asked
"Tried it. The ivy doesn't go all the way to the top. Besides, where are you going to go from there"said Newt
"What about the box?? You know next time it co-"Tommy asked but Newt cuts him off
"Already tried it. The box won't go back down with someone in it"said Newt
"What if we-"say Tommy but Newt cut him off again
"We already tried it, alright. Twice. Trust me anything that you think of we already tried. The only way out is through the maze. Now look, you wanna be helpful" Newt said,picking up a basket and shovel
"Go dig up some more fertilizer"said Newt. Thomas went to the woods then Newt said something to me

"Do you see the way how he looks at you"Newt asked me
"What"I asked chuckling
"Tommy,the way how he looks at you. It's obvious that he likes you"he says
"Why do you think that"I asked
"Because ever since he got here he's been looking at you. Even last night he was asking me about you"says Newt
"Oh"I said looking down
"Do you like him"Newt asked me
"Uhh....yeah I guess. I k-kinda like him. He's just...different, besides,we literally just met yesterday"I said
"Ever heard of 'love at first sight' ??If y'all ever get together and if he breaks your heart, I break his legs"he said and I just laughed

Thomas POV

I was walking in the woods talking to myself while trying to find some fertilizer. Whatever the heck that it.

"Just find some fertilizer Thomas. Are you sure you guys, I can't help any other way. No, just the fertilizer. You know where it is, it's just out in the middle of the woods"I said talking to myself. I was walking around a little more then I saw something that had a sticks facing up. It said "Gorge" on it. There were bones all over the ground. I got up and turned around and saw Ben.

"Whoa"I said and Ben just stared at me
"Uh, Ben right. I don't know if we Uh ever"I said but Ben kept on staring at me. His eyes were black. His skin was pale with vains
"Hey are you okay"I asked then Ben attacked me
"Get the hell off me"I said struggling to get him off
"It's your fault. I saw you. You did this. I saw you"Ben shouted at me. He dug his fingers in my rist then I screamed in pain. He started to choke me. I grabbed the scull that was next to me and hit his head with it. I quickly got up and made a run for it
"Hey, hey"I shouted. Ben caught up to me and pushed both of us down the hill

Y/n's POV

I was still helping Newt until we heard someone screaming. It was Thomas. I saw him trying to out run Ben
"Help, help"Thomas shouted then Ben tackled him to the ground. Everyone started running towards them. Newt grabbed a stick and hit Ben in the head with it.
"Hold him down. What are you doing"Newt asked Ben
"Calm down man"said Gally
"What the hell happened"Fry asked
"He just attacked me"said Thomas and I helped him up
"Are you alright"I asked Thomas, putting my hand on his shoulder
"Yeah"he says then Alby came
"No,no,no"Ben kept on mumbling
"Lift his shirt up"says Alby. Gally lifts Ben shirt up and saw that he got stung
"Oh my god"I mumbled
"He's been stung. In the middle of the day"Gally questioned. It took Alby a moment to say something then he did
"Alright, take him to the pit. Everybody help, take him to the pit"says Alby. Ben kept on struggling
"Med-jack"says Newt. Ben kept on screaming and struggling then they took him away. We all walked away . I went to sit down with Chuck,Thomas and Alby. I sat between Chuck and Thomas

Thomas POV

I went to go sit down with Chuck, Alby and Y/n. She sat between Chuck and I

"What's happening to him"I asked
"It's called the changing. It happens when someone gets stung. The infection is going to spread, he's dangerous. What did he say to you"Alby asked
"He said he saw me. That this is all my fault. How could this be my fault"I asked
"...get some rest"he said patting my back
"Alby"I asked
"Yeah"he answered back
"What's going to happen to him"I asked then he walked away so did Chuck
"They're going to banish him"said Y/n
"W-what"I said turning around now facing her
"At sun down, when the doors are about to close,there're going to push him in"she said then she got up
"Come on"she said taking my hand. I felt my cheeks go red. We walked in till we saw everyone else about to push Ben in the maze. Me,Chuck and Y/n just stood there then Chuck walked away
"You don't have to watch"she said then she walked away

When they finished pushing Ben in the maze everyone was silent.
"He belongs to the maze now"said Alby then everyone walked away

"You think he will make it"I asked
"Ben"Chuck asked. I turned around now facing him and Y/n
"No, no one survives a night in the maze"said Y/n
"You just have to forget about him"said Chuck then he went to sleep. I saw Y/n about to go sleep then I said something to her
"Night Y/n"I said
"Night Tommy"she said then went to sleep

Again,I saw people in coats and I saw that girl again. She had blue eyes with dark hair. She kept on saying everything is going to change and a lady with blond hair saying wicked is good. Then I saw Y/n, we were hugging each other and she was talking to me saying Thomas, I-I don't want to go. Please she begged me then I said Hey, hey. Look at me, I'm going to be watching you okay I said then I put my hands on the side of her head then said Remember how much I love you then I kissed her
