the name jack was actually a reference to handsome jack from borderlands, along with his personality and pet names, though from time to time I'd drift off. his name bill was also a reference of bill cipher from gravity falls.

vidalia, baskiel and dolion would have a platonic/polyamorous relationship.

I don't know if I've mentioned this, but vidalia's wings are a blackish dark purple, baskiel's are a whiteish blue and dolion's are a dark crimson red.

"Wait, what?!" Vidalia and Naofumi were currently in Lurolona Village, Corbin and Raphtalia's home village. The duo stood together as their party members each paid their respects to those who had fallen before them, Kanilō was keeping Filo company by throwing her up into the air while the other four were busy cleaning up some of the debris around the village, leaving Vidalia alone with Naofumi... well, with Baskiel and Dolion too "Wait, hold up! You're telling me, that Corbin's father... he was the King of an Ancient Kingdom, and technically speaking, Corbin is still the rightful ruler of said Kingdom?" she nods.

"Pretty much, yeah." she then grins "Apparently, his father was politically married to the former Queen of the Cloud Kingdom, to which she was slain by him, before fleeing and coming here, to which he fell in love with Corbin's mother before they both died during the first wave. Then eventually, Corbin found his way to me and the rest is history." Baskiel then appeared, leaning his elbow on her shoulder and rolling his wrist.

"And now that we've found out about the little bird's lineage, your party is full of nothing but ancient royalty." Dolion tutted his finger.

"Don't forget about the two immortals." he snapped his fingers.

"True, but they were of nobility before we bestowed eternal life upon them." Dolion pursed his lips, nodding his head.

"True." Naofumi then looked up at Vidalia, noticing the expression on her face told him that she was used to the two of them just rambling.

"Do they do this often?" he asked.

"You get used it, you're lucky they aren't arguing. If I had to describe it, it'd be like two younger siblings fighting over who was right." he closed his eyes, nodding his head, though he never had such arguments with his younger brother, Raphtalia and Filo were enough to get him to understand, but to have the two constantly spouting nonsense in her head... damn, that sounds like a nightmare. He heard her hum so he looked up and saw her squeezing her chin in thought before looking down, he followed her gaze and saw her staring down at her choker, or more specifically, the Yellow Jewel.

"Yellow, you think..." she slowly trailed off and he watched the Grimoire to the Jewels floated out of the pouch on her hip and opened up, flipping through the pages until stopping at one in Yellow's chapter, her hand hovered over the page as she leaned into it before swiping her hand over Yellow, having her glow brightly along with her hand.

power of jewels far and wide.

Slamming her hand onto the ground then throwing it up, she let out a tired huff as a bead of sweat ran down the side of her head as she watched Jewel's body cover the entire village before seeping into the ground, then slowly, figures taking shape into demi-humans made out of the light that came from Yellow rose out of the ground and looked around in confusion. Naofumi looked up at her in disbelief and awe at the sight of those who had died to the wave and the knights walk the earth, he goes to say something but noticed her gaze was on something else, turning over, his gaze softened when he saw that her eyes were on the figures before Raphtalia and Corbin... it was their parents.
