Chapter 09

Midoriya opens his eyes, realizing that he isn't dead. He looks around and see's he's in a hospital. He looks around more, then see's Todoroki sitting next to him. He was asleep. He had bags under his eyes, and his hair messy. He looked as if he came out of a storm. "Why am I still alive.." Midoriya whispers to himself. He reaches for the life support, and was about to unplug it when a hand stopped him. I looked down and saw it was Todoroki's hand. "Don't.." Todoroki says. Midoriya shakes his head, pushing Todoroki's hand off. "Why won't you let me." Midoriya says. Todoroki puts his hand on Midoriya's. "You know, you scared me." Todoroki says. Midoriya stays quiet. "Uraraka happened to be walking to school for homework when he saw you fall. She used the last bit of strength she had to float you. She's unconscious, since she used so much energy, but she saved you." Todoroki says, giving Midoriya a soft smile. Midoriya begins to cry. "Why.." he says. "Because she care's about you. Because we all do. Because she's your best friend. Lost of reasons." Todoroki says. "Why do you all care.." Midoriya says. "Because you make us smile. Because your caring. Because you help us, you give it your all. Because you care." Todoroki says. "I never thought of it that way.."  Midoriya says. "Why are you believing him now?" the voice says. Midoriya hits his head. "What's wrong?" Todoroki says. "N-Nothing-" Midoriya says. "That word isn't gonna work anymore. Something is wrong." Todoroki says. "The voice." Midoriya says. "How long has it been there?" Todoroki asks. "Too long to remember.." Midoriya says. "Why? Why do you stay? Why do you talk to me? Why do you care?" Midoriya asks. "Do you really wanna know.." Todoroki says. Midoriya nods a 'yes'. "Because I care. Because you make me laugh, smile, you lighten me up. Your part of my happiness. You matter so much, Midoriya." Todoroki says. Todoroki holds Midoriya's hand. He looks into his eyes. "Because I love you, Izuku." Todoroki says. Midoriya looks into Todoroki's eye's. He leans in and gently places his lips onto Todoroki's. "Their so soft, like cloud." Midoriya thinks. As they kiss, all the anger, sadness, all of those emotions go away. It's only them. The voice in Midoriya's head, gone. All of his mixed emotions, gone.

He had finally escaped, his hell hole.
