Love has found our date
but pain is my fate
as your end drew near,
I grew in fear
your last breath
is a sudden death
my pain grew stronger
as time grows longer
it would be a lie
to say that joy is in supply
with this I tell you goodbye
as I reunite with my lover up high

I should honestly just title this depressing poems, because there are like literally none that are even the slightest bit happy
I just thought of this on a whim, thinking depressing thoughts about what will happen to Tessa and Magnus when Jem and Alec die (the shadowhunter chronicles, cassandra clare) I thought about a really dramatic scene where they commit suicide together, and send a poetic fire message to the institute, where somebody who finds them will not be somebody they love or care about and idk why I thought this now im thinking depressing thoughts and am crying
why am I actually not depressed but literally am only good at writing depressing poems? I am just weird
idk what im doing
