"Mama!" I called out walking into her house

"why are you here" my pops asked coming down the stairs

"to see my mama" I laughed

"tired of y'all coming in and outta my house. You got yo own house go there" he said before walking off

I walked in the kitchen and saw my mama at the stove stirring something

"there's my baby" mama said hugging me

"hey ma" i said and kissed her temple

"yo sisters and them out back" she told

"alright save me a plate" I said and headed outside

I saw my older sister, some of my cousins and my little brother

"There he go" my cousin Rio said

"hey y'all"  I said walking over to them

"Wassup" they all nodded

"y'all having a kickback or something?" I asked

"yea we gone have a lil cookout, you should come thru" Rio said

"Alright I'm finna get ready and shit" I said dapping up everyone

I walked back in the house seeing my mom wasn't in the kitchen anymore

dang that woman move fast. I walked to the living and saw her sitting there watching tv

"Mama I'm finna leave but ill be back later" I told her

"okay baby be safe, love you" she said hugging me

I kissed her forehead before walking out the house and to my car. I got in and drove off heading towards Samira house

pulling up into her driveway I turned the car off and got out going inside the house

it was quiet and smelt like lavender everything was clean or neatly organized

I walked back to her room and saw she was sitting on the bed watching Princess and the Frog

"You really a big ass kid" I spoke up

She paused the movie before turning her attention to me

"When did you get here?"

"Just now"

"Oh well what do you want?"

" get dressed" I said before walking out her room 

I sat down in the living and waited on her about 10 minutes later she walked out wearing some shorts, a crew neck and black cat 4's

"You ready?" I asked

" yea let's go" she said
