I wake up with Apollo snuggled into the space in between my body and my arm "Cold night huh" I say to him but he's still sleeping "Are you talking to your cat" Jackson says sticking his head in my room from the hall "Yes and what's wrong with it" I say pulling back the covers so he can see Apollo "Nothing I just think you're slowly losing it" he says and leaves me so I can get ready for school "He thinks I'm nuts do you think I'm nuts" I say to a now awake Apollo and he meows then sneezes "Real Nice,thanks" I say and he meows again like he's retorting "You know if you're going to talk to your cat at least do it with the door closed so we aren't all exposed to your crazy" Jackson says popping in again and he must've been passing by in the hallway "Shut up and go away" I say to him and he laughs but leaves again
I hand in the new paper we were supposed to do in English and head back to my desk to find a note on it "What's this?" I ask jo but I can tell she didn't know it was there and was too focused on her own work to see who put it there "I don't know but looks like Tristan's messy writing" she says as I open it Dear ace,my parents are making me write this letter to apologize to you(it's like elementary school or something to them but anyway)sorry for throwing you in the pool and letting the whole school know you're a delinquent but honestly I'm not that sorry but I'm working on changing that or at least knowing when I'm going too far so If Paige got this to you when I asked her too I guess I'll see you tomorrow loser "Here read it" I say after reading it through myself "This is nuts" jo says and I laugh "I think it's as close to a real apology as we're going to get" I say as she hands it back "Unfortunately" she says picking up her pencil
I go over to her house after school and she told her dad this time so he won't freak "Hey How was school you guys?" He asks coming in the door "Pretty good how was work?" Jo asks and he shrugs "That vandal is back this time with 2 others know anything?" He asks and she shakes her head "Nope what did they do this time?" She asks and he raises an eyebrow at her "Well this time they out did themselves painting a bmw on the wall of the diner" he says and I have to bite my tongue to keep a straight face "That's cool" she says and he frowns "Alright well Im going to take a shower now so I'll see you two later" he says and goes upstairs "So Wanna raid the fridge?" She asks and I nod "I'm starving" I say and follow her into the kitchen
We get a bunch of snacks out and go over to her couch "Wanna get matching tattoos?" She asks and I frown "You have to be 18 to do it on your own and My parents would never consent let alone your dad" I say and she laughs "I have a tattoo gun upstairs and ink and stuff remember I told you I was going to be a tattoo artist" she says and I shrug "Sure but what kinda stuff are you thinking?" I ask and she pulls out her phone "I was thinking something like this" she says and shows me her phone

I was thinking of putting it on my hand but then she suggests we both put it on the middle finger of our right hand so when we make a fist it shows facing up and I think that's pretty cool so I agree "How are we going to hide it?" I ask and she smirks "Just say it's marker" she says as I admire her work "This looks so sick filled in" I say "Now people will see it at the game tonight too" she says and I panic "Fuck I forgot about the game" I say and check my phone Luckily we still have an hour before we have to get to the school "You should do that thing that the haikyuu boys do where they hold the ball out with one hand it's really intimidating and it'll look cool with the new tattoo" she says as I put a small price of that plastic stuff over it but the plastics barely noticeable "That would be cool but I don't want to steal the spotlight from my team" I say and she rolls her eyes "It'll be fine" she says and I agree it would be a pretty cool move
We drop off my stuff at my uncle and aunts house then head to the school "Hey ace you ready?" N.c asks as I walk in the locker room and I smile "Heck yeah" I say then unlock my locker "You're right side first in the rotation by the way" Lily says as I put on my jersey "I know" I say and notice Emily isn't here yet "Wheres Emily?" I whisper to n.c "She forgot her water bottle so she's waiting in the lobby for simone who's bringing it" she says taking out her nose ring "Are the eagles hard to beat?" I ask the team "Not really but we still gotta work hard" jazz says and that's a given "Nice tat ace" digs says noticing my hand and I smile "Thanks" I say "Alright team we gotta get out there and warm up" Lily says and I get ready to go then shove everything I don't need back into my locker ____________________________________ Turns out as I finished writing this chapter I got assigned a big project in school but here it is as promised plus the bonus so peace and stay healthy -Kat :)
