Loss of Hope

In Shark City, every Sharkanian swam into the palace for Techquinox.

Queen Freya stood right out the palace door, waiting for Sir Seasalt with his broach.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Flesher took out a pot and told his minions, "Now, let's prepare the main course..."

Every fanny pack opened and the Trolls fell into the pot, along with Beat Drop.

"The Techno Trolls!"

When every Troll was in the pot, Flesher locked it shut.

King Phyto and Queen Varuna looked around and saw Trollex.

"Trollex?"

"Oh, my baby!"

They quickly hugged him.

"Thank goodness you're alright!"

However, Trollex sarcastically said, "I'm doing great. I got everyone I love thrown in a pot. Thanks for asking."

Everyone looked at him, including Laguna.

Beat Drop asked, "Trollex...are you being...sarcastic?"

Trollex frustratingly shouted out, "YES!"

Everyone gasped.

Trollex then said, "I'm sorry. I don't know why I thought I could save you."

Everyone frowned.

"All I wanted to do was keep everyone safe, like you did, Mom and Dad...But, I couldn't."

Varuna said, "Trollex..."

Trollex was devastated, "I let everyone down."

He then went to the center of the pot and fell to his fins.

Laguna tried to say something, "But, Trollex..."

Trollex said to her, "You were right, Laguna; I can't solve everything with a positive attitude."

Then, something horrid happened...

Trollex started turning grey.

Everyone silently gasped.

Beat Drop especially, "Trollex."

When he was fully grey, everyone else in the pot started to lose their color.

Even Beat Drop lost his green glow.

The pot was now filled with unhappy, grey Techno Trolls.

They weren't the only ones who were unhappy.

Ronnie was cleaning the dishes while looking at the necklace from Freya.

And Freya was in her seat at the royal dining table waiting for Sir Seasalt.

It seemed like all hope was lost.
