Chapter 10

"Namjoon, you know how Taehyung is in our pack now," Jin said, as they were in their house, as he prepared the food for dinner.

Namjoon looked up from his computer, "yeah, what about it?" he asked, doing some work on his computer.

Stirring the noodles, "the packmates can link to each other but for some reason, I can never link up to Taehyung," Jin explains as he cooks.

"That's strange, maybe you should do another check up on the boy or something since you're like the best doctor in the pack," Namjoon suggested and Jin nods.

Taehyung was outside, hanging out with Jimin, "Jimine, who is Jungkook?" he asked as they were just walking around, enjoying the nice sunny day.

Jimin looked at Taehyung, "well he is my big brother..." he says as they walk around.

Look at the shorter male, "how are you guys, brothers? Your surname is not the same as his family?" Taehyung Questioned.

"His parents are not my real parents, I lost them in an attacked a long time ago and the pack leader decided to raise me." Jimin answered. "And I wanted to keep my surname because it was the only thing I have left of my family."

Taehyung stops walking, "oh, I didn't know... I lost my mother at birth and my father is somewhere... I hope he is still alive," he mumbles.

Jimin smiled softly at the younger, "we can talk to the alpha, maybe he will help you find your father," he suggested.

"Okay, let's do that later," Taehyung agreed but then he sees that handsome hybrid with other alphas, "what is Jungkook and those people doing?" he asked.

Looking the way Taehyung was looking, "oh, Jungkook is going on a hunt with them, alphas will go with a hybrid leading them which is usually Jungkook since he is a true hybrid," he explains, and Taehyung nods.

"Can I go on a hunt with them?" Taehyung asked, he really wanted to hunt like how he did to find food before he got here, like a side of him wanting to go with Jungkook on the hunt.

Jimin chuckled, "what! No, omegas can't hunt, we don't even leave the pack for our own protection, Tae," he said and Taehyung pouts.

When Jimin was not looking, Taehyung took this chance to run off, he ran to the fence and climbed it. Once he was on the other side, Taehyung looked around and saw a lot of trees, he started walking.

"Hey Tae, Jin hyung wants to know if you want- Taehyung where did you go!" Jimin turns around and sees that the boy was nowhere near. He called for his name but there was no answer and he couldn't follow his scent since Taehyung still had moonflower perfume on from school.

Running to Namjin's house, Jimin knocks on the door till Namjoon opens it, "what's wrong Jimin?" the alpha asked as he lets the omega inside his house.

"I lost Taehyung, he was next to me but when I turn around, he was gone!" Jimin said and that's when Jin came out of the kitchen.

"What did you just say!?" Jin asked, taking the wet gloves off from doing the dishes.

Taehyung shifts, it felt amazing to be in his wolf form again. He sniffed the air and caught a soft scent of coconut, following the scent. The scent was getting stronger and there was another scent there too so he quietly sneaks up and hides in a bush.

There were like three wolves, 2 of them had orange eyes and the other had yellow eyes but Taehyung wondered which one was Jungkook. A huge black wolf with scary red eyes walked up to the other wolves and Taehyung knew who that was. They couldn't smell Taehyung since he still had a moonflower on.

Taehyung just followed them, staying back so they wouldn't see them, he was shocked at how fast they were. He stopped when he saw Jungkook stop but the other wolves run off ahead, leaving the true hybrid behind. Then their eyes met, the silver eyes staring into those bright red eyes.

The little wolf didn't know what to do, he was frozen in place as he watched the huge wolf slowly walk up to him. Jungkook knew that they were being followed so that is why he stayed back but he then gets a soft scent of strawberries and that is when he knew it was an omega.

Taehyung just noticed that the moonflower was wearing off by now so he stepped out because he knew if he ran. Jungkook was taken back by how small and beautiful the little omega was but he knew who it was.

"Taehyung?" Jungkook uses one of his abilities to talk to Taehyung which is telepathy. "I can use telepathy which will let me read other minds or even talk to them in their head."

Taehyung nods, "ah... o-okay," he said in his head, he was not linking up to Jungkook because he can't so Jungkook had to use his abilities to talk to the omega.

"Why are you following us? You know it's not safe for omegas to be out here," Jungkook sat down, Taehyung was very small for a male omega and he also wondered why the boy's eyes were silver and not purple.

Taehyung looks down, "I just wanted to go hunt with you guys... I used to hunt a lot before I came here."

"Ah, then let's see how good you are," Jungkook stood up and started walking, "are you coming, it's too late to go back so let's finish the hunt." Taehyung quickly gets next to him, walking behind him, he was trying to not wag his tail because he was happy that Jungkook was going to let him hunt.

Jungkook stopped, which made the white wolf bump into him, "there is a deer right there... are you able to kill it?"

Taehyung looks up and nods, "what!? I may be an omega but I'm not weak!" he huffed and walked in front of Taehyung. If Jungkook was in his human form, there would be a smirk on his face.

Taehyung crawled closer to the deer, not making any sounds as he kept his eyes on the deer that was just eating grass. Jungkook followed behind just in case Taehyung needed help. The white wolf attacked the deer, biting at the neck but the deer was much bigger than the other deers he had hunted so he had a bit of a hard time.

"Wow, I thought I had to go in and help you but you did it," Jungkook walks up to the omega and look at the deer that was laying on the ground, "but I can still hear its heartbeat," and he finished the deer, breaking the neck to make sure it was dead.

Taehyung wags his tail, looking at Jungkook, "can we eat it now!?" he begs, silver eyes look at the black wolf.

Jungkook shook his head, "no, we must bring it back to the pack," he bites the deer's back legs, holding it in his mouth, Taehyung also bites the front legs to help Jungkook move it. "Why are your eyes silver? And you're so small to be a male omega," Jungkook pointed out.

Taehyung is smaller than a female omega and he had silver eyes which are not normal for male omegas.

"What do you mean, I was born like this," Taehyung looked at Jungkook, he didn't know what he meant.

"Well, male omegas don't have silver eyes and they are bigger than female omegas but you are so small," Jungkook explains to the boy.

"Oh..." Taehyung nods.
