I can't believe I'm engaged! I've been waiting for this day for such a long time, ever since I was little.
I was cleaning the house when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and oh my gosh.
"Katie!"
"Hi"
I gave her a strong and big hug.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to meet you! Why else would u be here anyways?"
"Right"
She barged in and started looking through my house
"Umm do you need something?"
"No im just looking for Rahul."
Rahul.... I smiled I haven't heard that name in the longest.
"He isn't here."
She looked at me confused.
"What do you mean?"
"We got into a fight and we'll I left him...."
She was shocked
"YOU LEFT HIM?!?!"
She put her hand up as if she was about to slap me. I flinched but she put it down
"How could you leave him?!?"
"He got back with Maya and we'll you know about my used to be feelings for him."
"We'll yeah but they aren't together anymore."
I looked up at her.
"What?!? What do you mean!!?"
She quickly turned around and said something but I couldn't quite hear her
"Katie.. have you talked to him?"
"What? Who? Me?!? No! Never."
"Katie tell me the truth."
She put her hands on my shoulders and looked at me.
"I am."
My face expression changed. I was kind of happy that she told me she saw Rahul so that I could know if he was alright or not. But she didn't and plus why do I care?

"GIRL WHAT?!? Your engaged?"
I smiled at her and showed her my ring.
"Haan"
She was shock and happy. She gave me a big hug
"Oh god I'm sooo happy for you Meera! Tell me whose the lucky guy?"
"His name is Murat."
" 'Murat' it sound like a sexy name."
She growled and I giggled.
"Omg we always dreamed about this day. You would wear a red lehenga, I would be your maid of honor and Rahul would walk you down!"
My face changed and I felt tears wanting to escape my eyes. Yeah we did dream do this day but sadly dreams don't gone true. She looked at me.
"That is how it's gonna be right."
I looked away and turned around making her face my back
"You did invite Rahul right?"
